I know, I know. This took super long. I just couldn't figure out how to make the chapter longer without dragging it out. I wanted to to end it where i have ended it but it was too short. Kept trying and trying. But i decided to just leave it like this cz i didn't want it to come any later than this. Next one will come soon. Either tomorrow or the day after. But no promises. It's unedited, but i hope you enjoy!

Once they were inside Jungkook received a message on his phone. It was from his friend and it specified the location where Jungkook was supposed to wait for him.

"Um, so, my friend just texted me. I'm going to wait for him in front of that café over there." – Jungkook says and points to the proper direction.

"Okay."

"A~re you going to get going or-?"

"No, I'd rather stay here, with you until he reaches."

"I'd rather you didn't meet him ok? So maybe just start roaming around in a couple of minutes... or if you want to leave, it's your call."

"Why can't I meet him?" – Taehyung asked offended, or at least it seemed so to Jungkook.

"If he recognizes you by any chance it could end up being a headache for the both us. We can't afford to take chances right now. The secrecy of the situation is crucial for me and therefore for you."

Jungkook said as much but kept hidden another major factor in his reasoning behind the decision to keep Taehyung from meeting the birthday boy.

Jungkook was meeting Jiwoon. It was his birthday. Jiwoon had met Taehyu- well, V before and the meeting hadn't gone quite smoothly. It's enough to say the man has left a strong impression on Jiwoon. Yes, it would be wise if they did not see each other right now.

"O-oh, I see. Um, yea, you're right. I guess it would be best if we didn't create opportunities for misunderstanding and mishappening."

"Exactly! Thanks for understanding Taehyung."

"So when is our next session?"

Jungkook thought for a fleeting moment but decided it was best to think about it at ease without the stress of keeping Jiwoon and Taehyung apart.

"I'll just call you and tell you later ok?"

Taehyung looked at Jungkook for a couple of seconds and let out a weak "ok".

It wasn't like Jungkook wasn't aware of what Taehyung could be feeling. He just could not risk it.

Taehyung continued – "I guess I'll see you when I see you?"

Jungkook nodded and Taehyung sighed. He then gave him a soft little smile and turned his back to the younger, heading towards the entrance from where they came in not too long ago.

Only then did Jungkook relax. It was long before Jiwoon made an entrance.

"Jungkook! Over here!" – Jiwoon called to him, waving as he ran up to him.

Jungkook smiled brightly and as Jiwoon closed in on him he exclaimed – "Happy birthday!"

The brief hug they shared was interrupted with a murderous tone of voice and matching set of eyes that Jungkook couldn't look away from.

"Would you mind letting go of him?"

Taehyung was standing a few feet away next them eyeing Jiwoon and his arms around Jungkook.

"Taehyung what are you doing here? I thought we agreed on something?!" – panicked Jungkook and got out of the hug afraid of triggering Taehyung more. A shift is the last thing he wants and the last thing he needs.

"What's your problem man?" – asked Jiwoon annoyed by Taehyung. This was not a day he wanted ruined. Taehyung looked intent on ruining it.

"Don't know. But for some reason I want to punch your face in. For some reason, you're making me extremely angry. Yet I know for sure that I don't want to see your arms around Jungkook ever again. It's as simple as that."

Jungkook was stressed but most of all he was confused.
