Chapter 1

Josie's POV
I woke up to the sound of the alarm. I got dressed and woke up Lizzie. I put on my clothes remembering that break is over and now I have to go back to school. I want this year to go by fast. I just want it to be over.

I walked out of my room to see my dad passed out on the couch again with a beer bottle next to him. I grabbed the beer bottle out of his hand and put a blanket over him. Ever since our mom died 5 years ago he's been different. I've also changed, it happened when Lizzie and I were only 12 and that day made us grow up more then we could have ever thought possible. I was brought out of my thoughts when Lizzie got a call.

"Hey," She said.

"Yeah thanks that would be awesome," she said, "We will be down in a second."

"Okay, love ya," she said before she hung up.

"Raf is going to drive us to school along with a few of the other people on the football team."

"Okay," I grabbed my bag and ran outside to see Raf, Mg, Landon, and Hope inside of Raf's red convertible. Rafael is the quarterback of the Football team. Which is cool I guess but it's such a stereotype that the head cheerleader and the quarterback date. I think as hop into the back seat.

"Hey," He said and tried to give Lizzie kiss. She turned so head so that he only got her cheek.

"Hey," She greeted back. The rest of the car ride was silent except for the fact that Mg and Landon were fighting about who could throw a stupid football further. Hope looked annoyed as usual. I was just looking outside of the car and saw a girl on a motorcycle that zoomed past us. She was wearing a leather jacket with black ripped jeans.

"What the hell!" Rafael yelled at her, flipping her off. This caused her to look back at us and flip him off too.
"Bitch," he whispered to himself. Minutes after the incident we arrived at school. I noticed the motorcycle from a few minutes ago in the student parking lot. I looked around to see if the girl was anywhere near it but I had no sight of her.

"I'm having a party tonight," Rafael whispered in Lizzie's ear quite loudly sliding his arms around her waist.

"Ok, cool, I don't know if we can make it," Lizzie stated slipping out of his grip.

"But you have to come you're my girlfriend," He put his arms around her again.

"We might have plans but ok."

"Okay so I will pick you guys up around 6," He told us right before he kissed her at the front gate.

"Great," I smiled even though I didn't want to.

"See you two at lunch," he said.

"I'm going to go talk to Hope real quick," Lizzie said.

Suddenly I saw the most beautiful person I had ever laid eyes on. She had raven color hair and green eyes she was wearing the ssame thing that the biker was. She noticed that I was staring and winked at me. I immediately started to blush. She started to walk over to where I was.
"You know it's rude to stare," she said.

"Umm... I'm—"

"Josie Saltzman ." She said cutting me off, "You're a cheerleader and you have the best grades in the school and let's not forget that you are the headmasters daughter."

"How did you know that? Everyone always focuses on Lizzie, I'm just her twin," I stated.

"You're cute." I blushed again, "I'm Penelope by the way, Penelope Park," She smirked

"Well it's nice to meet you Penelope."

"You are going to be seeing a lot more of me," She said getting closer whispering in
my ear , "And I mean all of me."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously as I noticed Lizzie walk up behind us.

"You will find out tonight at your boyfriends party," she said pointing at Lizzie.

"What was that about?" My sister said to me.

"I-I don't know," I said as I continued to stare at her.
