Chapter 10

Hope's Pov
I woke up with my arm around Lizzie and her body up against mine. I didn't want to move but I knew I had to. My alarm was going to go off in a few minutes and I know that Lizzie doesn't want Josie to know.

Josie's Pov

Hope's alarm went off waking us up we went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.  After breakfast we went to Hope's car to drive to the school. I told them that I had to go to the library and they said they needed to go talk to a teacher that gets here early.

I arrived at the library at exactly 6:45. I walked around and saw that Penelope was already sitting at a table on her phone.  I walked over to her.

"Hey," I said while sitting down.

"Hey, so should we get started?" She asked.

"Yeah," after I got my stuff out of my bag I asked, "What's your favorite subject?"

"I don't know but right now I really like English,  There's this really cute girl who sits next to me," she  smirked.

"Are you flirting with me right now?"

"Would it be bad if I was?" She smiled at me.

"Umm... Now you ask me a question, " I changed the subject.

"What do you plan on doing after you graduate?"

"I don't really know to be honest, I know that I want to go to college I just don't know which one."

"Hmm..." she starts writing it down.

"What about you?"

"I want to be a detective," she clears her throat, "I've always been into mysteries."

"I see."

For the next hour we continue to ask questions and write it down for the project. I learned some things about her nothing deep but I learned that her favorite color is yellow so that's something right.

No ones pov

Lizzie and Hope went away from Josie to talk about what's going on with them. They went to a very private spot at school we're nobody can find them.

"So...we're actually going to talk about this?" Lizzie asked.

"Lizzie, you promised," Hope stated taking a step closer.

"I know and we are going to talk about it." Lizzie reassures.

"Well, do you have feelings for me?" Hope asked.

"Yes, I have feelings for you, Hope." She admits, "Of course I have feelings for you."

"Are they stronger than the ones you have with Raf."

"Hope..." Lizzie made eye contact.

"Well are they?" Hope continues, "If you want this you have to be honest with me.

Lizzie takes Hope's hand and squeezes it softly, "The moment I admit this, my feelings, they'll be true and I don't know if I want it to be true. Because I've never felt like this, Hope."

"I'm sensing a but."

"I don't want to hurt him. He doesn't deserve that."

"You'll be hurting him even more if you lead him on and if his feelings are anything like mine than I know that he's going to get hurt."

"Hope, I can't just break up with him," Lizzie states.

"I know."

The two were simply sitting there and looking at each other for a few minutes. It was silent until Lizzie decided to say something.

"After Homecoming."

"What?" Hope asked curiously.

"I will break up with Raf after homecoming. Until then we will just have to keep us a secret. From everyone," Lizzie states and Hope smiles wide.

"Wait, even Josie?"

"Yes even Josie," Lizzie says.

"Okay, then I guess we're a secret." Hope looked around to see if anyone was around. She moved herself closer to Lizzie and kissed her.

The bell rang signaling them to class.

Penelope and Josie walked to 1st period laughing about a joke that Penelope made.

"Josie? What are you doing walking with satan?!"crap, think of something.

"I umm..."
