Chapter 39

Josie didn't lie about having to study but she did lie about the time. The truth is she rushed because realized the awkward tension in the air and knew the two needed to get out of there. Hope and Lizzie dropped Josie off in front of the library and they went to park the car.

Penelope wasn't supposed to get there until a bit later but she went to the library to wait for her girlfriend. Not a lot of people were at the school this early but there were a few people scattered around the library. While Josie was in the library this gave Hope and Lizzie the time they needed to talk.

"I love you, Lizzie... I really do and of course I want to take our relationship to the next step.." She states as she unbuckles her seatbelt.

"I'm sensing a but coming up," Lizzie states.

"But," Hope sighs, "I don't want it to change things between us. Like what if we have sex and you realize that you were actually lusting after me."

"Hope, I'm telling you that is not what is happening," she continues, "I love you more than anyone. You mean the world to me, no, you are the world to me."

"Did I mention that I love you?" Lizzie giggled a bit at Hope.

"Yes, multiple times."

"And I will keep telling you that until I'm no longer able to speak."

(With Josie)

Penelope was right on time as usual. Penelope walked up to Josie and say right next to her. Greeting her by pecking her lips, "Good morning, JoJo."

"Good morning, my beautiful girlfriend," Josie says getting out her calculus book.

"You seemed to have woken up on the right side of the bed this morning."

"I'm just happy you're here."

"So calculus, I took this class last year so let's see." Josie and Penelope spend up until the bell rings to study. Of course Josie got distracted sometimes by Penelope. She wasn't even really doing anything, just talking.

(Lunch)

Penelope has started sitting with Josie and her friends. She had actually gotten really close to a few of them in the last few weeks.

A lot of people were talking about how Hope and Lizzie were running for Homecoming Queen and King. No one dared to say anything bad about it in fear of Lizzie's wrath. Well no one except for Landon Kirby.

"You guys are really going to vote for two bi-curios girls? They probably don't even like girls and are just faking it all to win votes!" He yells through the cafeteria.

"Landon fucking Kirby if you don't shut up!" Hope said going up to him close enough to smell alcohol off of his clothes. Of course he's been drinking.

"What are you going to do if I don't? Slap me? Have you girlfriend threaten me? Wow I'm so scared." He puts girlfriend in finger quotes.

"Fuck off Landon. Lizzie is my girlfriend and I love her more than I have ever loved you!" She yelled making sure everyone on campus could hear her and walks back to her table.

"You don't even know what you're talking about! Two girls could never love each other like that!"

"Don't let him get to you," Lizzie whispered in Hopes ear.

"And with Lizzie of all people. I don't even know who could ever love that bitch!" If everything else that he said made her angry that made her want to tear his head off. "Like, the only reason people are nice to Lizzie is because they are scared of her! I bet that's why you're dating the bitch, huh? She forced you into it, cause I know for a fact that you aren't gay, Hope!" She would've killed him if Lizzie didn't stop her.

"Landon Kirby. Please report to the principals office." The announcer said through the speaker system.

"This isn't the end of this conversation, Hope!"

"That was not a conversation that was him fucking talking shit about you! How did that not bother you?" Hope asked her girlfriend.

"I'm used to it. People judge me based off of what they hear from other people or what they see and there's nothing I can do to change their opinions. Especially if they don't give me a chance to."

"You know I would've killed him if he kept going."

"I know."

Totally didn't forget to post yesterday. Sorry about that. Anyways thank you for reading, also the Spring finale of season 2 really did that.  Also I've been posting a lot of chapters about Hizzie and I'm not exactly not digging it so I'm probably going to keep the Hizzie thing going along with Posie. Also idk why I decided to make Landon a homophobic asshole but I did. Anyways hope you enjoyed. Until tomorrow...
