(At Hope's house)

Lizzie went to take a shower leaving Hope and Josie alone.  "So are you going to tell me what's going on between you and Penelope?" Hope asked.

"Nothing is going on between us... we're just friends," Josie stated.

"Oh yeah because friends totally make out with each other in the middle of a hallway," Hope said sarcastically thinking about how much of a hypocrite she sounds like right now.

"Okay... so maybe something is going on between us but, I would prefer if we don't talk about it."

"So does this mean you like girls too?" Hope said.

"I don't really know," Josie states. She didn't really know, she had always liked boys she never even considered the possibility of liking another girl until she met Penelope. She did have a tiny crush on Hope when they were younger but she got over it. "So I heard you say you liked someone during the truth or dare game, is that true?"

"Yeah," Hope frowned, "It's not going to work out, they said that they want to be with me but they can't."

"Do you want to be with them?"

"More than anything."

"Well, you have to show them that you aren't going to give up and do everything you can to show them that."

"I guess," she thought about it for a second and knew what she had to do, " I'll be right back have to do something, I will be right back," Hope said getting up and hugged Josie before she left to go talk to Lizzie.

Lizzie's POV

I was showering when I started to hear the door open.

"I'm almost done," I told them.

"It's Hope, can we talk?" She asked walking into the room.

"Sure, put can I have a few more minutes."

"Yeah, Umm sorry, I wasn't thinking." She walked out and I heard the door close.

I put on clothes and opened to the door outside of the bathroom.  Hope was waiting outside. At first she just stared at me not saying anything. "So... what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"Okay," she took a deep breath in, "this is harder than I thought it was going to be. But, I need you to know that I'm not going to give up on us. I don't want whatever this is to end," Hope states.

"Hope... I already told you that we can never happen, Rafael loves me and I... I care about him," I said.

"You care about him? But are you in love with him?"

"... Of-of course I am," I lied, I couldn't say that I was in love him because the truth was that I wasn't.

"I want to hear you say it, I want to hear you say that you are in love with Rafael, make me believe that you love him and then whatever this is can end and we can go back to how we used to be never bringing it up ," Hope said.

"I am in love with Raf," Lizzie said avoiding eye contact. Do I really want to stop?

"Lizzie, I need to believe you, I won't be able to let this go unless I believe that you are truly in love with someone else," She states making Lizzie look at her.

"Hope... I can't tell you that," She states, "because I'm not in love with him."

"Then break up with him."

"Hope, it's not that simple," Lizzie states

"Why not, Lizzie?" Hope asks.

"Because I care about him, Hope, and there is no way that the school would vote me as Homecoming queen or Prom queen without him."

"Is that what really makes you happy? Winning a stupid crown? Being popular?" She asked getting slightly closer, " I can't believe you," she scoffed.

"Yes, that makes me happy! Can you just drop this?"

"No, I won't just drop this!" Her voice became softer "I want to be with you, I want you Lizzie and only you."

"I want you too, Hope."

"Then show me!" Hope was standing extremely close to Lizzie. Her eyes flickered between Hope's eyes and her lips. She leaned in and connected her lips to Hope's and after a few moments Hope kissed her back.

"I do want you Hope," Lizzie said softly.

"Lizzie... How are we going to do this?" Hope asked.

"I don't know... Let's talk about it tomorrow, okay?" Lizzie says

"Tomorrow then," Hope was so happy that they were actually going to talk about what's going on between them. She didn't know if she would ever even have the courage to tell Lizzie how she felt. She had always thought that Lizzie only saw her as a friend. Sure Lizzie was bitchy sometimes but Hope loved her. She always had and probably always will. Regardless of her feelings she was going to stand by Lizzie no matter what. At least that's what she wanted to do.
