Chapter 19

"Lizzie, can you try to be nice to Penelope. She's new here!" Hope yelled.

"I didn't start this fight! She's stealing my sister!" Lizzie yells back. Lizzie felt that every moment that Josie spent with Penelope she was losing her. She felt that she was losing her sister completely. Maybe there was still hope considering that they only met Penelope two days ago.

"Lizzie, I think that you should let Josie have her own friends besides us. She is not being corrupted by her, she is just trying to get to know her better," Hope tells her.

"I know that, it's just that Josie has never argued with me before. She has always been there and what happens if one day she has to choose between me and Penelope and she chooses her,"Lizzie was worried that her sister's new "friend" will make Josie not be on her side anymore.

"Lizzie... Josie's your sister and if she had to choose she would choose you no matter what. She will probably stop hanging out with Penelope once this project is done, I bet that we'll have Josie back soon."

"I'm just worried, I think that satan likes my sister," Lizzie states.

"Why would it matter?" Hope stated. She was trying here best to not tell Lizzie that she caught them making out during the party. She knew that Josie liked Penelope, it was obvious but she couldn't tell that to Lizzie or else she'd murder Penelope.

"You're right my sister can date whoever she wants it's not like it matters to me besides I have you," Lizzie said.

Hope pulled her behind the diner and attacked her lips. "Always," Hope reconnected their lips and started to slowly push Lizzie against the wall. She grabbed Lizzies hands and pinned them above her head and continued to kiss her repeatedly.

"What if we get caught?" Lizzie asked completely out of breath.

"I don't know, we will figure that out," Hope replies also out of breath and soon connects their lips once again.

Lizzie was scared, no, she was terrified. She had never felt this way about someone before. Not even Raf even though they have been dating for a long time. She didn't know what she was doing either. She loved Hope at least she thinks she does but she also didn't want to hurt Raf.

(Back with Penelope and Josie)

"Be good to her Penelope."

"I plan to," Penelope says.

"And Josie, as long as you're happy I'm happy. You deserve to love someone too. Okay I just don't want her getting hurt but you seem like a good person," Ms. Palo said, "I have known Josie for a very long time and it would kill me to see her heart broken."

"I really like her and I don't want to hurt her," She put her hand on my thigh.

"I have to get back to work but I hope to see you two in here more often, it was very nice meeting you Penelope," Ms. Palo states.

"It was nice meeting you too Ms. Palo," Penelope said after Ms. Palo left she started to drag her hand up my thigh making me gulp.

"Penelope... ," I whispered, "My sister is outside."

"Do you want to go somewhere more private then?" She whispered in my ear.

"They're going to come back any second now," I tell her.

"I know," she then kisses me quickly.

"Penelope!" I whisper yelled at her, "What if someone saw?"

"Then they would know that you are with me."

"Penelope, what if Lizzie saw?" I asked her.

"Hope probably already told her what happened between us at the party," she stated putting her arm around me.

"She wouldn't."

"Are you sure? Because it kinda looks like Hope is in love with your sister."

"No, Hope does not love Lizzie...not like that, and she's straight."

"Really?" She didn't believe me! Hope is one of my best friends.

"Yes, really. We've been best friends for years she just... really cares about her. There's a special bond between them, they've always had it. They've been close said since the first day they met," I explained.

"Whatever you say, I just feel like something is going on between them, something secret."

"You mean like what's going on with us?" I raised my eyebrow.

"No, because I don't have a boyfriend and neither do you," she quickly responded.

"Lizzie wouldn't cheat on Raf and Hope likes someone else, I don't know who though."

"There is the possibility of that her mystery crush is Lizzie."

Hope and Lizzie then walked through the door and waved at us.

"Hey," Hope said as she sat down.

"What took you guys so long?" I asked.

"I just needed to calm Lizzie down," Hope said and Penelope smirked.

"I'm going to go to the restroom," Penelope said as she got up.

"What is her deal??" Lizzie asked me seeming a little mad.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said.

"Every time I walk into the room she walks out of it."

"Maybe if you treated her like a normal human being she'd be here and besides she's only going to the bathroom," I stated.

"Maybe if she would just submit to me then I would treat her better."

"She's not a dog, Lizzie! She's a human being and my friend so calm down."

"If I didn't know any better, I would think that you're in love with her. Hell you might be."

My phone buzzed.

"I have to take this," I said.

Penelope: Meet me in the back...
