Chapter 25

Lizzie and Rafael walked back to the table with there heads down. Raf didn't even want to look at her and Lizzie was too embarrassed to look at him. She didn't regret it though. She can finally be with Hope. In public. She was so happy but at the same time she was worried.

They both sat down at their seats. "Hey what happened?" Hope asked.

"Ask Lizzie, come on Landon," Rafael said standing up and walking away.

"Lizzie?" Josie asked

"Raf and I broke up," she stated.

"What?! Why?!" Mg shouted.

"Because, I fell in love with someone else," Lizzie admitted.

"Who? If you don't mind me asking," He asked.

"Hope," Hope looks up at Lizzie.

"I love you too, Lizzie." She grabs Lizzie's hand under the table.

"I'm sorry how did I not know about this?" Mg asked the two.

"We didn't tell anyone not even Josie," they state.

"I saw you two," Josie stated putting her head down.

"What? When?" Lizzie asked.

"Last night, when Hope snuck in, you kissed her," Josie said.

"Oh, why didn't you tell me?" Lizzie asked her.

"I thought you wanted to keep it a secret and I thought that it would be an awkward conversation," Josie states, "but, why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I was worried you would tell Raf," Lizzie states.

"Lizzie, I would never tell anyone something like that no matter how much I may disagree with it. You are my sister and I love you, that is never going to change,"

" I love you too Jo," Lizzie got up and hugged her sister.

"So what are you going to do now?" Josie asked pulling away from the hug.

"Well since Raf and I aren't a thing anymore, Hope and I are going to be running for Homecoming queens," Lizzie announces to the whole cafeteria making everyone turn their head towards them.

"What?" Mg yelled very confused about what they just said, "Are you guys allowed to do that?"

"I don't know but I also don't care," Lizzie states.

"Hope? Are you okay with this?" He asked.

"Yeah, I mean why wouldn't I be?" She states.

"Since we are running, Josie, I was wondering if you wanted to be our campaign manager?"

"Yeah, of course, I'll get right on the hizzie for homecoming queens posters," Josie says.

"Hizzie?" Hope questioned.

"It's your ship name," Mg explains.

"Okay, anyways so who are you guys planning on taking to Homecoming?" Lizzie asked.

"Well, I'm thinking about asking Nia but I don't know if she will say yes," He says.

"You mean the girl in your math class?" Hope asked.

"Yeah," He states, "we have quite a lot in common."

"Hmm, so what about you Josie?" Hope asked me with a smirk.

"Umm... I was actually planning on going with Penelope," She answered putting her head down so she doesn't have to look at her sister.

"You want to go with Sat- I mean Penelope?" Lizzie caught herself.

"Yeah, I really like her, she makes me happy," Josie stated. She did really like Penelope, like a lot.

"Alright if you want to go with Penelope, then you should go with her. I may not like her but if you do you should go for it," she stated.

"Who are you and what have you done with Lizzie?" Mg asked.

"I guess that she deserves to be happy too, I have Hope and I realized it was wrong of me not to let Josie be happy too."

The bell rang signaling everyone to go to their next class. Lizzie, Josie and Rafael has the next period together. That's going to be fun.

"Thank you Lizzie," Josie said sitting down at her seat.

"Yeah of course jo, I love you," She states.

"I love you too Liz," she gives her sister a hug. Rafael walks past Lizzie ands sits down right behind her.

"You deserve this, more than anyone, you take care of other people before you take care of yourself. It's about time that I help you be happy for once so I'm going to help you ask Penelope."

"Really?"Lizzie nodded, "Oh my god, thank you!"

Rafael walks past Lizzie and sits down right behind her. Class starts after that. It was soon the end of the day.

"So I'm guessing you're going on a date with Penelope tonight?" Lizzie asked.

"Yeah," Josie smiles

"So where are you two going?"

"I don't really know, Penelope planned it I guess she knows," Josie states.

"Hmm..." her phone then goes off, "It's Hope we're going on our first official date tonight too," She states.

"Okay see you at home," Josie shouts as Lizzie starts to walk off. Just as she leaves Josie gets a text from Penelope.

Penelope: meet me in the parking lot
Josie: okay, on my way
Josie: Are we taking your bike?
Penelope: Yeah, do you want to drive?
Josie: Yeah that'd be perfect.

Josie ran up to Penelope who was currently leaning against her bike and kissed her. She pushed her up against the bike and put her hands on either side of Penelope. Penelope was slightly surprised by Josie's confidence and continued to kiss her back.

"What was that for?" Penelope asked with a smirk on her face.

"Lizzie said we can be together," Josie said excitedly.

"Really? Well in that case..." Penelope kissed her again and cupped Josie's face with her hands. She put there foreheads together when they separated staying like that for several moments. "Do you want to get going now?"

"Yeah, so where are we going?" Josie asked her.

"To the lake we went to yesterday," she stated.

"Alright," Josie said as Penelope started the bike for her. Penelope then put her arms around Josie's waste causing Josie to bite her lip. Josie really loves riding the bike with Penelope holding onto her. She loved anything she did with Penelope.

The two soon arrived at the lake and Penelope helped Josie off the bike. She handed Josie a blindfold.

"Really?" She laughed.

"Yes really," Penelope said going behind her and putting it on. Josie could feel Penelope's breath on her neck. When the blindfold was on Josie turned around and quickly kissed Penelope. Penelope simply smiled at her. She then lead Josie to the bench. Penelope slowly took off the blindfold revealing a picnic.

"How did you set this up? We were at school all day."

"Was I?" She smirks

"You ditched?" Josie questioned sitting down next to Penelope.

"Maybe... but I wanted our first date to be perfect," she smiles. Josie leaned in and kissed her, "And it is."
