I understand how hard it is to love me. I know it takes a lot of courage to teach yourself to love me when it was not yet done loving her.
I know you're still respiring to the hope of her coming back into your life once more even if she already closed that door and told you to go on with your separate lives.
I gave my best because I know I could never love someone as much as I needed to. I spent so many nights replacing my skin with hers hoping you'll feel the familiarity and will want me too. You did.
After my long striving, you finally did. I know I have no right to complain because it was me who insisted for a spot that is not yet ready for occupation. This must have been the consequences I need to face.
Sometimes, it just hurts everywhere inside me knowing it was me who did this to myself. But I don't want to regret someone who made me happy. It's hard to love someone who's still stuck in the past.
She, after all, is still the one you love for who she was--for who she is. No matter where she might be, no matter how many times she tried to hurt you.
No matter how many times she breaks you intentionally. She's still the one you choose to love despite not seeing her anymore.
While here I am, the one who is loved just because I'm the one who's here. "
