Somebody that I used to know

You've been my acquaintance,

soon enough my friend,
and unexpectedly became my everything.

we've exchange deep random thoughts,
about depression, anxiety, personal problems,
even national issues,
it's our kind of closure.
it took a long road to feel and ask questions about being hurt, betrayed, and lost.

then, you asked about love,
I answered its loyalty, and yours is acceptance.

you accepted me the way I am
Thus, I felt your love and affection,
your admiration for a simple guy like me.
I got attached to you.

but hurricanes came,
and trembles my temple like an earthquake,
Its my own fault
that you leave me
a good choice that you made.

we saw each other,
and didn't bother,
maybe both hurt and got scars,
but acceptance is all we need to heal,
we maybe strangers again
but memories will never fade.
it will stay until the end.
