Approaching you every time I see you, is one of the things I want to do
But I'll end up watching you from afar, waiting for your smile to glow
I wrote poems to express the words I wanted you to know
Sadly, it remains secretly written
Even though I think of you and me every night
The words 'we can't ever be' will always save me from the trap that's pulling me in
I thought of many ways for you to hear the voice inside my heart
But I got discouraged realizing I'll never be the girl you prayed for every night
I'll be sad to see you with another girl someday
And I will surely regret the chance fate has displayed
But it's okay because I'll be getting ready and the first step will be to "STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY"
