Simon had gone to film a video with Theo and Chip. I'd decided to stay at the house so I could start reading Pride and Prejudice.

As I opened the book a piece of paper fell onto the bed. I picked it up and read what it said 'there's something at the end of each chapter, don't skip ahead. I'll know if you have.'

I read fifteen chapters before Simon got home and at the end of each there was a post-it note with a reason why he loved me.

"How much have you read so far?" Simon asked as he placed his bag on on the gaming chairs.

"Fifteen chapters so far."

"You're already a quarter of the way through." I went to close my book when Simon spoke up again. "You stay here and read, I'll go make us something to eat."

I picked my book up and read a few more chapters. the collection of post-it notes slowly growing. Reasons why he loved me, memories from the last fifteen years of knowing each other and quotes from my favourite books.
