Your POV
It was your usual working day at the Cafe. You love your job especially the morning feels and caffeine scent of the Cafe.
"Here's your order, Ma'am." you handed the coffee to your customer. Working at the Cafe is one of your sidelines since you needed an extra money for your college. It wasn't easy, though. But fortunately your allowances barely covers up your future expenses in college.
" I'll have one black coffee and a blueberry cheesecake,please."
"Right away, Sir." then your eyes meet the usual guy with a curly brown hair. He's the usual customers who buys a cup of black coffee at an exact 7:30 in the morning. He smiled at you and you felt your cheeks burn not knowing why.
"Hey...Y/N?" the guy tilted his head to read your name tag. His eyes narrowed pretending to read your name. Even though he already knew your name.
You paused.
"Yes?"
"Uhm... You'd probably think I'm weird to ask you this but... I was wondering if you want to grab a coffee with me."
"Oh, how silly of me. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Joshua Bassett." he noticed there was hesitation in you when he asked you out without introducing himself.
" Uhm... I don't." you didn't know what to do and was weirdly intimidated by this guy. Because this Joshua, has the looks and everytime he walks in the shop there were always girls giggling and whispering of how good looking this guy is.
"Oh..." there was a hint of disappointment in his face.
"I'm sorry but... Here's your order, Sir." you were snapped into reality and gave him his tray with his delicious black coffee and blueberry cheesecake.
"Thanks." he looked down and feeling of hurt surfaces in his heart. But then of course, there's another chance for you to allow him to take you out.
With a moment there was something about his brown eyes that changed your mind.
You watched him as he smiled at you once again. But with a hint of disappointment.
"Wait!"
"Uhm... My break starts by 12 o clock. Wanna grab some pizza instead?"
