🕊️imagine: the i do's of forever

i find this imagine quite tricky to write because i haven't tried writing wedding in all that stuff. but i'm glad @Msmit93  requested it so that i could try a very different scenario that are serious and all. hope you love it!

It was the very moment.

Perfect.

Everything was perfect, the perfect place, time, and... person.

Joshua gave you that breathtaking smile, as you caught his attention.

"Today we'll witness the moment as two wonderful people, Y/N and Joshua."

You looked lovely wearing the embroidered white mermaid wedding gown, without any makeup revealing your natural beauty.

You could see your friends, Olivia, Matt, and Joshua's family

" Take care of my little baby. "your dad cried  as he held your hand offering your hand to Joshua.

" Yes, sir. "

" You look ravishing as always. " he whispered on your ears, feeling your cheeks burn a little.

Joshua let out a shaky breath, his hand holding you hands never letting go.

" I, Joshua T. Bassett, take you Y/F/N (your full name), to be my wedded wife,"

"I, Y/F/N (your full name), take you Joshua T. Basset, to be my wedded husband,"

Tears daring to escape your eyes as he continues.

"for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer," Joshua clicked his lips, rubbing your hand soothingly.

" I love you." with that, everything felt slowed down and every person inside the room didn't matter. Joshua leans for a kiss, touching your side as you tilt your head to kiss him deeply.

"Attention, please. I would love to share with you all how me and my life, my wife, Y/N love story began." you sat comfortably on your seat as your husband stood in front of you.

" As you all know, I love my showbiz career, attention and affirmation of others—while this woman here, " pointing his glass at you.

" taught me what really matters most in life and... how we have this will and power to love. With such intensity that I couldn't possibly believe. " you licks you lower lips, wiping the tears of joy.

" She found me, during the times when the things that I love turn its back on me. She thought me... how important my life is and my worth. " Joshua gulped, trying to hold back the tears after remembering what he has gone through.

" So... I'm happy. So very happy. " it was as if you remembered the first time you saw him cry with everything, letting his guard down and allowing you to see him. The real Joshua Bassett.

" Y/N, thank you for not giving up on me during the times when I, myself gave up on me. "

" I love you..." you mouthed, Joshua bowed his head. It was like a dream and he's your prince charming taking you into his kingdom.

" I would love to give a toast on my lovely and perfect wife, Y/N Bassett. May our love be as strong and unbreakable for the years to come."

"I love you to the infinity and beyond." he raised his glass, widen his arms when he notice you leaving your seat, hugging him tightly.

You could feel your knees gave up because of exhaustion.

" You tired?" your husband whispered to your ears.

Joshua has his arms around your waist, as the two of you hoped inside a car.

"A little." you admitted, Joshua smile at how adorable you look inside his arm. He pressed a light and long peck on your forehead.

" We're almost there, Y/N."

" Woahh."your jaw dropped by the time you came out from the car, revealing a prestigious hotel.

" Are you sure we can afford this? " you were about to help Joshua with your luggage when he pushed you gently.

" I don't want this little boy here be tired. " he kneeled down, whispering to your tummy.

"He wouldn't mind, though." you giggled.

You're in awe by the time you made an entrance to your room.

Everything was all sophisticated, to the point that it's quite intimidating.

" Hold on there, Mrs. Bassett." you yelped in surprise when he bridal carries you.

" Is this really necessary, Joshy?"

" It does add some quite effect, right?" He said, thoughtfully.

" What do you think of his name?"

"You know the baby could be a she." you noted him, wrapping your arms around his waist, tighter.

"  I have a feeling that he's a he." Joshua utter while playing with your hair.

The two of you lay your back on the soft and comfy mattress.

" You have a feeling? "you made a look, making him chuckle.

" I don't mind, though. If the baby is a girl—"

" But it would be nice if the first kid that we have is boy, Y/N. " you asked him why.

" Because if there's a boy broke our baby girl's heart he could finish him—"you instantly, hit him on his chest. He laughed jokingly.

" Whaat?—"

" So you're saying you just want two kids? "

" I don't mind if you want a children as many as a basketball team—" Joshua said quickly making you have a headache.

" Seriously, what you just said gives me a headache." Joshua let out a chuckle while caressing your cheeks.

" I'm okay with what you want as long as you're with till the end."
