It was already the last day of school and your school has this thing with love letters as if it was the month of February.

Joshua gasped in surprise as he opened his locker full of letters from his admirers. You couldn't help but to pout as you watch him from afar.

If only he would hide that sweet and innocent smile of his,you thought.

You were about to open your own locker when the school bell interrupting you from doing it. You quickly walked to your next class not wanting to be late since your next teacher was a very terror teacher.

You heard the girls gossiping about the love letter and all. About how they have received their admirer's letters and all the jaz.  You were a bit annoyed on how noisy they were but a surprising topic caught your attention.

"Is it true that Joshua has a letter for a girl?"

"Yes that rumor is so true! I saw him holding a blue letter."

The girls gushed of how lucky the girl was. But after hearing that, you stopped on your notes.

The thing is, you like the boy sitting just in front of your table. He laugh with his friends as one of them pops a joke.

"You know watching him from afar won't do any progress." you heard your best friend muttered as she acknowledged that you were gazing at Joshua.

"I'm not watching him." then you felt your cheeks burn when you turn your eyes back to the boy. Then, surprisingly his gaze met yours.

"Oh my--look at the time! I think I will grab my things on my locker." speaking up to Joshua about your feeling and all always make you chicken out. There was one time when you were about to ask Joshua to be paired with you for a school project. But when that thick eyebrow and deadly smile met your eyes you always end up walking to the door. Always leaving Joshua baffled.

Your eyes widens as you studied the blue letter on your hand. You couldn't help but to gasp in surprise on the letter that just fell before your feet.

The blue envelop was garnished with simple flower on the side making you smile.

There you saw at the back of the blue envelop.

You couldn't help but to giggle at the cute code name written.

There was no other student in the corridor but you.

"Is it true that Joshua has a letter for a girl?"

"Yes that rumor is so true! I saw him holding a blue letter."

It was odd because you remembered what the girls said earlier. Your hand gently trails on the beautiful envelop.

There written a short letter:

dear y/n,
you're so pretty. tbh, this is my first time writing a letter. i shouldn't have written that, huh?

You laughed at the first three sentences.

the thing is i just want to let you know that you're really smart, pretty, kind and... cool. it's the last day of school and it really bummed me for not being able to hang out with you. anyway, i was wondering if you want to hang out sometime? this summer?

Your mouth left opened and couldn't believe it. It was from Joshua.

"Can I hang out with you sometime?" there standing behind you the boy whose all blushing and scratching the back of his head.

In surprise, you accidentally let go of the letter.

"Y-You're--"

" Yeah, your hopeless and awkward admirer from afar." he laughed embarrassingly. Joshua couldn't help but to grin at how cute reaction.

"So...?" you felt your cheeks burn and feeling that moment again. That moment wherein you can't breathe because of your heart beating so fast.

Joshua frowns at your answer.

"I-I mean, I just can't believe it. Since when?" His hands were in his pocket and breath as he shyly explain.

" Since you were about to ask me to partner with you."

"Well, you don't need to be shy about it. Because I find it really cute. A-And you're always there to help our classmates in need. Which is really cool. I... er." Joshua stammer as he tries to stay cool.

"Y/N, you're really cute and..." Joshua mentally slapped himself as he tries to explain.

"You already said that." You couldn't help but to giggle and as if for that very moment someone pushed you to press a kiss on the embarrassed boy on the cheeks.

Shocked, by your answer Joshua's hand felt his burning cheeks.

"I'll take that as a yes."
