😠imagine: first fight

You stomped to your bedroom before you could close it Ricky slips inside. He was breathing heavily trying to catch up with you and understand what's going on with you.

"Was that necessary? Snapping on Nini like that?" Ricky narrowed his hazel eyes as he question you. Now, he's mad at me? After forgetting our monthsary?, you thought.

"You're the one who totally forgot our monthsary." you raised your hand as you pointed.

"Come on, Y/N. I said I was sorry. "

"Sorry? Ricky, I was thinking for days, thinking about what to get you and--and... it was fine for me that you forgot our monthsary... but remembering your ex-girlfriend's favorite gift? That's unfair, Ricky!"

" Nini is going through a hard time--"

" So, you think giving  her a gift would make her better? "

"You should have asked her to be your girlfriend, Ricky. That would've been make sense." then it was Ricky's turn to raise his voice at you.

"I'm still her friend, Y/N! "You were shocked, he never raise his voice at you. This was his first. You made an incredulous look at him that made him stop. To be honest, it hurts you that Ricky forgot that it was your monthsary. And there's a voice at the back of your head kept on bothering you. And it drives you crazy.

You let out a defeated sigh. Then a thought crosses your mind.

"Okay."you gave up as you opened the door waiting for your boyfriend to go.

"I'm tired, Ricky. You should probably... go." you looked down. The two of you stood silent for a moment. Ricky gazed at you but you won't return his gaze. His heart sinks as he saw you wiping a tear away.

"No. I--I need--uh... Just leave me." you stammer, trying to hold back the tears. You heard Ricky let out a sigh,then you realized it was your first fight and didn't think that it would end well.

"Look... I'm sorry, Y/N. It's my fault. But please try to understand me, Nini's is also my friend." Ricky's arms welcomes you as he apologize. You nodded.

"Ricky... I'm your girlfriend not her." Ricky paused at what you just said. There was pure pain in your eyes as you said those words, that hit Ricky.

"Maybe we should... reflect, if having this relationship is good for the both of us." Ricky was about to stop you, you yank away from him that made him wince.

"I don't think-- you have moved on at all from her. And hearing you defend her... just made me realize that"

"I can never be the person to receive that whole heart of yours. It has always been her."
