😷imagine: unfavorable days

You laid limply on your couch, almost teary when you felt the excruciating pain. You have plans with your boyfriend Joshua today. But of course since, you have those menstrual cramps. You couldn't have a date with him.

You already texted him that you were unable to meet him since you're not feeling well. Your parents just went on a date since afterall it's Valentines Day. Another smack on your face not being able to celebrate Valentines day with Joshua.

Your phone rang, you answer it on the third ring because you couldn't stand up or even move of how pain it is.

"H-Hello?" You bit your lip in pain. Not being able to read who called you on your phone.

"Y/N? Babe, are you okay?" It was Joshua's voice asking you worriedly. You were about to assure him but the deep pain below your stomach made you groan in pain.

"Are you having... those?"

"Yeah, I just want to rest this down. You don't need to come or anything----" but before you could finish, you vomited.

"Y/N? No, I'm coming alright. Just stay put, I'll be there just 20 minutes."

"You didn't have to come all the way here, Joshy." He helped you stood up and carried you to your bedroom. You were embarrassed because you were covered in vomit but he didn't mind it though. Joshua laid you on your bed and went to your closet and grab some pj's and shirt.

You noticed of the paper bag he carried and saw there were the favorite foods that you love. There was a long tootsie roll that you love. Ramen noodles. Vanilla Ice cream. And some sanitary pad.

You felt your cheeks blushed furiously. Of how Joshua bought those things for you. Especially the things you needed.

"Here, are you sure you can handle yourself, cleaning yourself up?" You nodded and give him a sweet smile.

" Oh. I'll prepare the Ramen, just--"  you held his hand.

"Thank you, Joshy. You have no idea how glad I am you're here... with me. I know it's my fault why we're not celebrating Valentines Day. "
Joshua sat beside you and smiled.

"I'm sorry." you apologized and he lifted you cheeks up.

"You don't need to be apologize." Joshua said his hands on your cheeks.

"What matters most is your health, baby. And besides Valentines Day it's just a date alright? We have our days. We can celebrate Valentines day tomorrow, or if you'd like, everyday." you couldn't help but to feel lucky to have him.

"I want to kiss you but since you're covered with vomit. I'll kiss you later,Y/N." he jokes making you laugh.

"I love you, Joshy."

"I love you too, Y/N."with that you spend the whole Valentines day laying on your bed. Joshua taking care of you. The two of you watched some movies while eating the foods that he bought. And whenever you have those pain again your boyfriend would shoo it away. By massaging your lower stomach. You were surprised at first when he asked you about it. And to your surprise the pain slowly fades away.

"Where did you learn this stuff?" asking curiously.

"I just read the my sisterly girl manual. Kidding, I asked my sister about it. And they told me, that this should take the pain slowly away." he explained innocently,his hand still massaging the pain. You kissed his cheeks making Joshua turn to you.

"I know it's very awkward having a date with you're girlfriend with a monthly period and all. Thank you, really. And I love you."
