It was already snowing outside and kids were having fun throwing snow balls with one another. You were waiting for your boyfriend Joshua because he asked to meet up with you. It was very astonishing to want to meet up outside especially Joshua wasnt one of the people who likes to go out on a winter day. He preferred staying indoors tuck in a blanket like a smol bean.

You were focused daydreaming of how cute Joshua would have been sleeping and didnt noticed that he sat beside you on another swing.

"Youre here..."

"I'm sorry if I arrived late." You didnt mind though. You've been wanting to be with him because its been like...3 months or 4 the last time you see him or even talk to him in person. And you missed him.

"Y/N..."when your arms went around him. You missed his scent and warmth.Your head on his chest, you were a bit disappointed when you didnt heard it beating fast just like before.But didnt mind it,though.

"Y/N, there's something I want to tell you..." Joshua was serious and there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. Which made you confused and worried.

"Joshy, what's wrong?Is there somethi---"

"I can't do this..." stun by his words you took a step back from him. Confusion tangles you as he tries to explain.

"I realized that...Look---its been months since we've seen or talk to each other and not being able to miss each other."

"I've missed you, Joshy. Badly." It was the first time you felt that sudden burden in your chest. You didnt know what to feel. But you're positive sure that you felt nothing as he continues.

"Y/N...I---I can't bring my feelings back. I've tried so hard but..."Joshua breathe.

"You can't? Or you won't?"

"Come on, Y/N. You have no idea how hard it is for me for you to not call or even meet me up on set."

"I thought it would help you concentrate and I don't want to be a distraction on your career---"

"That's the point! You didn't bother to ask me what I want. "

"I want someone to be with...and lean on."

" I don't understand...you promised that we're endgame and---"

"I'm sorry, Y/N." That's all Joshua could say because he in fact promised her that. He hoped to bring the feelings that he has for you but that day came and he fell.

You were battling the tears to come out but you unsuccessfully let a cry out. You breath and cold smoke appeared in front of your mouth as you tried to speak.

"You're not sorry... Look, I've been there for you since day one, since you tried so hard to reach your dreams. I'm always there to cheer you and love you every moment you're happy or sad."

"Y/N----"

"Then my love wasn't enough,Joshy. I love you so much to the point it breaks my heart seeing you with another girl who makes you smile. And I made myself okay about it since it's your dreams. And your happiness means a lot to me." There Joshua felt the guilt surging at the pit of his stomach. He wanted to say what he's been through without you. But no words escape his mouth.

" Then... I'm the only one holding on to this. To us. " you realized and wiped the tears away. Sharp coldness pinches the end of your fingers. Then something crossed your mind and made you tear up more.

"You didn't love me, Joshy." Joshua turn to you.

"Thats not true." he shook his head and was about to reach you but you pulled yourself away.

"Then why did we come to this point?" Joshua hated himself for hurting you. You breath,trying to control the tears.

"Y/N, I'm sorry." after that you left him. You didn't want to hear any of his words. It pains you so much to hear him saying the words that he didn't love you anymore.
