One of the things that made you fall for Joshua is how he genuinely and boldly show his love and care for you.

He never fails to make you feel his love. And you like it.

But today is not one of those days. You were so behind with your work. You mentally slap yourself for procrastinating these couple of days but you didn't regret spending those moment with your boyfriend.

You're stuck on the dining table with your laptop, typing all the things that needed to finish.

"Y/N!"

"Joshua! You startled me." you tried to calm your heart, because He jumped out of nowhere with the look on his face.

Seriously, that look made you swoon and forgot you were working.

Quickly, you averted your focus on the screen and continue typing. He sat beside you, resting his chin on his palm.

"Come on, let's just sleep."

"Not now, babe. I've got a lot of work to do and-"

"Just take an hour rest with me. You look tired, Y/N."you didn't want to ignore him but it's the only way you could think of because reasoning with him would only end up in bed and legs entangled. Completely forgot ting that you have work to do.

" Hey, Y/N. " you continued typing.

" Are you seriously ignoring me?"

No answer.

"Come on, let's just sleep." he tried to shrug you off from facing the laptop. But you wiggled your shoulders preventing him to do what he's thinking.

Seriously, he's not giving up.

"I miss your voice already..." He leaned beside you, you could almost feel his breath brushed your shoulders, trying to entice you.

"Come on... let's sleep... I'm tired," you were about to leave the table when Joshua rests his head on your shoulder. You regret wearing sleeveless top, making it harder for you.

"...because I know you're tired too." Joshua breathes.

"Y/N... Am I right...?" it's so unfair!, you thought.

He has this effect on you and he knew it!

You probably going crazy when you thought his lips touches your shoulder blades.

"Don't do that."

"Do what?" he acts innocently, he raised his head making your face a few inches closer to Joshua.

Leaning closer, Joshua pulled away making you groan in annoyance.

"You're such a tease. You know that?" you squint your eyes, glaring at him.

His smile widens, leaning forward again to your side.

"Please?"his tone became different. You squeeze your eyes shut, when his finger touches your jaw then down to your neck.

"Did I just caught your attention now?" he continuously teased. Seriously, he's making me crazy, you thought.

"Come on, let's just sleep." he gave up, pressing a kiss on your cheeks.

"No." Joshua groaned, growing more impatient.

You were so focused on your work, a devilish smile escapes the corner of Joshua's lips.

"... You know Y/N, I don't take a no for an answer." before you even notice you were picked up, you were on one side of his shoulder. Carrying you to your bedroom.

"I have work, Joshy! And-" you were cut off by his lips.

"I. Promise. I'll. Help. You. Tomorrow." he breathes and kisses you for every word, you were expecting him to pull back on the last word but Joshua just continues. You were left catching your breath.

"Y/N, let's sleep now alright?"

"Make sure to keep your promise for tomorrow-"

" Let's not talk about work when your with me." and the two of you cuddled all night with a few moments he showered you with gentle and sweet kisses.
