imagine you and joshua were in a movie and the two of you are on a interview, promoting the romcom movie.

"Hello guys! I'm Joshua Bassett."

"And I'm Y/N Y/S/N. And we're here for the challenge"

"What's in the box challenge!" the two of you said in chorus with full of excitement.

It was your first time doing this challenge and so was the boy standing next to you. You let out a nervous breathe.

"We will give you some questions while you do the challenge." one of the staff directed. Joshua said a 'yepp' and you just nod your way.

"This is a really nerve-wracking."

"And challenging." you clapped your hands and the staff prepared the box. Making Joshua turn to you and gave you a childish and playful nudge.

"Okay! First box" Joshua started and you were about to make your way to the box in front of you."Do you want to be the first?" You blushed when you felt his hands on yours.

"Well curiosity kills the cat. Hahaha." Joshua stepped forward as he saw a small insect.

"You're really lucky." he jokes which made you frown.

"I never thought that this would be a really scary game and--WAH! DID I JUST TOUCH ITS TAIL." Joshua tries to keep his laughter as he stood in front of you. He was giving some hints.

"Is it a spider? Are you serious? Insects?!" he nodded his hand on his lips.

"Well, I don't think--OHMYGOSH! IT'S A BEETLE?" Joshua shook his head.

It was a Tarantula.

You gasped on surprise and horror as you saw a big spider crawling its way out of the table.

"Okay, you got me there." It was Josh's turn.

"Wait, I definitely felt something there." you stare at your boyfriend innocent look as he slowly touches a cute stuffed bunny.

"It's very... hairy?" he yanks his arm away in fear making you giggle at how cute Joshua look.

"The thing... in there is big and hairy." you tried to hold back the comment and laughter.

"WOAH, WOAH, WOAHH!"

Then it hit him.

"It's fake huh?" you nodded laughed. It was an epic reaction from Joshua.

"In my defense, I'm not afraid of any cute stuffed toys."

"That's was epic! HAHAHHAHA." the other staff couldn't help but to laugh.

"Okay, next box." he embarrassingly scratched the back of his neck.

"I feel like it's moving, cuz I could hear it." Joshua acknowledged and there after a few seconds a goofy grinned plaster on his lips. Which made you want to catch a glimpse inside the box.

"Is it really something?" then you felt something pointy making you pull out your hands.

"Of course, it's something, Y/N." you pouted and whined in fear.

"Then what is it?"

" Just touch it. It won't hurt." you tried it again and felt something small thing touches your index finger, making you scream your lungs out.

"Y/N, hahhahaha now I love this game." you almost cried as you fell on your butt.

"Are you okay there? Okay, fine. It's your favorite animal in the world?" but you couldn't do it anymore. The staff grabbed a tissue and held it to you. "Can you still...?"

"Yeahhh." you said, trying to compose yourself.

But before you could put your hand inside the box Joshua held the cute animal out trying to cheer you up.

"Oh my gosh, it's a hedgehog!" there Joshua caught the smile that made him fall in love with you.

"Okay, here's the next box."

You saw there a cockroach. You held a hand covering your mouth.

"Remind me later to speak with the one who's idea to involve bugs in this challenge, okay?" You joked. Joshua then let out a sigh as he tried to figure what the insect is.

"Okay, by the looks of Y/N I would go for a...cockroach." the staff and Joshua laughed in chorus. There you stand dumbfounded while holding a cute hedgehog.

Well it took for about an hour to finish the challenge and you and Mr. Hedgehog were playing.

" Are you gonna help me here or what? " Joshua whined jokingly as he continues playing the game.

"I think you can already manage, Joshy."

"Okay, I'm already jealous with that newly found friend of yours."

"Mr. Hedgehog is so cute~"

"Earlier you cried like a baby now--"

"Shut up, Joshy. Can I bring Mr. Hedgehog home?" earning a chuckle from your boyfriend.
