happy 100th chapter!

You shivered with the sudden cold wind breeze, it didn't helped when you were soaked wet because of the continuous rain outside.

Waiting for someone—specifically your best friend whom just ditched you.

"Y/N? What're you doing here?" his wet curly hair didn't help to make Ricky less attractive.

"Well—I was waiting for my best friend." you utter while pressing your phone hard.

"Looks like she just ditched me for some reason." Ricky nodded not sure of what to say.

"We agreed on watching a movies together and... wallow."

"Wallow?" Ricky scrunched his brow—but then he remembered.

"Oh—Y/N, I'm sorry about your boyfriend—"

" Well, he's my ex now. Though, I appreciate your sympathy." the cold urges you blurt more words. You have no idea what kept you from standing on the front of the East High School.

" What brings you here, Ricky? "

" W-Well, my friend just called me and I think... I've been set up. " you couldn't prevent yourself giving a chuckle because of how embarrass he is with an unknown reason.

"I guess we've got great friends." you joked while staring at the raindrops, Ricky paused and glance at you—

"Y/N, let just say... we've got great friends who ditched and set us up. Do you think we can use this as a sign to hangout?"

"Like a date?" looking up at him, you could see the pinkish shade became visible through his cheeks. But then, nodded.

You knew that the sane and obvious answer would be to reject him but there's something alluring through his brown eyes.

"Sure, Ricky."

👕👕👕

"So... what do you want to watch?" Ricky asked, while you tried to be more comfortable with the wet clothes you were wearing.

Ricky noticed.

"Hey, if you want to borrow some of my clothes you can—" he stutters.

"If that's okay with you." you said, shyly. Without a word he sauntered through his closet.

"You really love skateboard, huh?" while admiring his collection of skateboard and posters.

" Oh, we should probably do a Marvel marathon." you thanked Ricky when he gave you some clothes.

" To disappoint you, I don't have girl clothes." Ricky breathes.

" It's cool."

"I should prepare the dvd."

"I'll just go get change."

You could almost breathe comfortably when you wore his gray shirt and short. The short that he lend you was not that short while the shirt—was a bit too big.

Nonetheless, it felt super comfortable.

"Y/N? The movie is already ready. I picked Thor—" Ricky was out of words when you exited his bathroom wearing his clothes.

"Thor, would be nice." you smiled, but that made him more even red.

"Y-Yeah, I guess."

👕👕👕

"I just texted my mom that I'm gonna be home late since this rain won't allow me to leave."

Ricky offered another gummy bears to you which you happily accepted.

"You know you could just stay here—"after hearing what he just said. " For tonight, you know—"

" I know. " you replied, understood what he meant.

" Don't worry I'll sleep on the downstairs. " Ricky reassured, while playing with the gummy bear that he was holding.

" No—I don't think that—I've been such a burden."

"You've just been here for like 30 minutes."

"I'll just go home." but then a loud thunder stun you making you react on it.

Ricky gasped in surprise when you wrapped your arms around his waist digging your face through his neck.

Upon realizing what you just did.

"Sorry about tha—" when his lips pressed onto yours. You were surprised at first—but when Ricky noticed it and was about to pull away, your arms finds its way through his  chest grasping the fabric in front of him, pulling him closer.

"You really—" he breathes when you just interrupts him, you could feel his cheeks burning. Ricky shivers as he gently lays you down on the mattress.

It was like it's not even really happening, Ricky caved you inside his arms.

But then, something hit him and made Ricky realize what he's doing wasn't right.

"Y/N... hold on." Ricky gave his all from pulling away from the only person that he truly loves.

It didn't help though, when your fingertips touches Ricky's cheek encouraging him to continue what you two just were doing.

" Y/N... I-I can't." you blinked at what he just said, in an instant you pulled yourself away.

"It's not like I don't want to." Ricky looks down.

"Is there something wrong with me?" you blurted, that made Ricky's eyes widen when you were almost in tear.

"What—no! Y/N, there's nothing wrong with you." Ricky tries to reason out, to say it kindly and clearly.

"To be frankly honest with you... I want to." he looks unsure to whether to tell it to you.

"Look Y/N," holding your hands together, Ricky couldn't help but to be caught off guard within a moment.

Seeing you wear his clothes, was the last thing he could've imagine to happen.

"I just don't want this to happen just like—one time thing."

"And to continue what we were doing earlier— I just think it wouldn't be fair for you if you don't know what I'm feeling for you."

"What do you mean?" you asked.

"I like you, Y/N. More than you know."

Then silence filled the room after that.

"Now will be the great time to say something." Ricky felt awkward when he raised his hand to touch your cheeks.

"I-I—" you stammer.

Ricky instantly lose his hope when there was uncertainty through your tone. But then, he realizes he misinterpret it when you pull him to you.

His curly locks tickles your neck, Ricky's hands travels through your waist. He entrapped you with his body, while his face rests on your side.

"I think I like you too, Ricky."
