😰 imagine: nightmares

Scream and cry became inaudible in your room, waking Joshua beside you. Your body crumpled into small, Joshua made a soft noise. Seeing you having nightmares made him worry, his hand touches your shoulder.

"Y/N? Babe, wake up." Sweat forms to the side of your forehead. He sat and lean in front of you. He held his breath when Joshua heard you called his name.

"Joshy..." there terror in your voice, making your boyfriend shrug you to wake up. But then, you shrieked in pain. Not minding if you'd be surprised, he picked you up in his arms and envelop you in his arms.

"Joshy... Don't leave me!" after when your boyfriend disappeared in your nightmare, you met his concern hazel eyes. You gasped for air and hugged him desperately around his waist,trying to grasp that he's real.

"Sshhh... I'm here, Y/N." Joshua cupped your cheeks and wipe the tears away. Warmth meets your skin as Joshua held you close in him.

"I saw you w-walk away and—" Joshua frowned at what you said and with that as if you're struggling to breathe. Before Joshua could realize, you were having those panic atttacks.

" Y/N? Hey..."

" I can't b-breathe, Joshy." Joshua tried to distract you with his lullabies. But there were no use, you gasped for air. Joshua was about to stand and grab his phone but an idea came to his mind. Joshua turn to you, your hands still clasped on your chest trying to breath.

" I-I'm trying to breath." you tried to focus on your breathing but it was no use.

"Hey... Breath, Y/N." you closed your eyes and continued breathing but it was no use.

"J-Joshy, I—" before you could instruct him to get some small paper bag, leaned forward and his dried lip touches yours. You yelp in surprise as his warm hands pulled your cheeks, Joshua had no idea if this would work. His other arm went around your waist and the other lightly cup your cheeks. His vanilla scent consumes you as he lean closer. You held your breath as you felt his hand gently touches your neck, sending shivers to you.

Realizing his idea worked, he was about to pulled away. Joshua checked, his half opened eyes lingers your closed eyes.

"You okay?" Joshua touches your cheeks, worrily.

"Y-Yeah..." you felt your cheeks became flushed as he smiled successfully.

"What were you dreaming about?" Joshua asked. He tried to sing a lullaby to you so that you could sleep but you couldn't sleep.

You played with the gray fabric of his sleeveless and sighed.

"It was a nightmare, thought... It was terrifying,because you left in it after breaking up with me." Joshua paused.

"I know that you won't do such thing. But... it felt real." He embraces you tighter in his arms after you explained.

"Hey... I won't. It was just a nightmare. I'm real and..." Joshua leans in and gave you a peck on your lips.

"I'm here..." he finishes, making you pop one of those smile that he fell in love with.

"By the way, it's kinda sweet."

" What?"

"Our kiss made you held your breath. Which means my kiss is breath taking?" with that you hit him on the chest jokingly, making the two of you chuckle and cuddle the whole night til the two of you fall asleep.
