😪imagine: sleepless nights & the i love yous

Joshua's POV

Y/N really looks different as she sleeps. I let out a deep breathe as I try to unwrap her arms around me.

But when I did that a cute frown appear in her face. That made me stop.

The TV were still on and playing a horror movie that we love watching. Which made Y/N disturb her sleeping time.

"Joshy, don't move..." as I turn off the television. I raised a brow at Y/N as she try to snuggle at my neck.

"Hahaha--that...Uhm it tickles." Y/N looked like a baby while sleeping beside me.

I can't sleep, I thought for a hundredth time.

I tried counting the sheeps in my head and blink a couple times but couldn't. It's just I can't sleep in my position.

"What! Were did you put Franklin?!" I yelp in surprise as Y/N tired yelled. She was still sleeping which made me surprised.

She's sleep talking.

"Joshyyy, where is Franklin?"

"I --uh he's in my car." Y/N's arms tightens around me. I frantically utter. At that moment, I could still Y/N's cheeks turning into rose pink.

Which made my heart beats faster.

"Oh... Okay...i love you." Y/N said that caught my breath. Me and Y/N are still going out and we are practically on good terms. But we were on a stage we just want to keep it slow. But it changes. I was shocked and that made Y/N wake up.

"Uh... Joshy you're still awake?" there I saw the only girl who truly loves me sitting in front of me while rubbing her eyes like a child who just woke up.

"Yeah... Uhm--I'm sorry I woke you up." I felt Y/N's hands on my shoulder.

"Was it a nightmare?"

"No, oh dear. Uhm... I" I stammer and Y/N sat in front of me still half awake. I bit my lip at such shock.

"You were... uh sleep talking." that made her pause.

"I hope I did not say--"

"You said you love me." Y/N was surprised at what she just said. Her hand were on mine.

"I know that we agreed on taking everything slow and--" the joy in my heart couldn't take it anymore. I was happy knowing that she loves me too.

"Y/N, you love me..." there was a sad expression in her face as she tries to explain which made me frown. But then, without a thought I pressed my lips on her.

"I love you too, Y/N. It's just that I can't believe it."

"Why?"

"Because... Never in a million years I thought that you would fall in love with me because I'm just your dork best friend. It's just--I love you so much to the point that it scares me that I have to cross the line of our friendship." Y/N's hands trails on my hair as she try to comfort me.

" Then let's make this relationship endless. "

"I can't sleep."

"Me neither." Y/N was laying on her size allowing me to have a view that allows me to gaze at her beautiful and wonderful face.

"What are you thinking?" I asked her expression turn into full of excitement.

"Nothing... It's just--I love you." I swear I could feel my cheeks are all hot now at how Y/N have this effect on me.

"Are you blushing?" Y/N said in her giggles.

"Nope." I declined but then gave up as she try to say I love you. Then that night turns into millions of sayings of three simple words but have a great and amazing meanings behind it.
