i enjoyed doing the pic in adobe draw and i just want to share it with you guys 🧡

Joshua has been acting all weird and distracted these couple of days. First, when you helped him catching with his studies he just look dumbfounded at you, nodding frantically.

"Hey what's up with you lately?" Joshua let out a shaky voice noticing what he'd realized this morning is true.

"What're you talking about?"

"Joshy you know how it bothers me when something's wrong—"

"Hey, Y/N!" someone called you from behind. You blinked in surprise as your ex approach you with his stupid grin.

"Later, Y/N." before you could stop Joshua he left already.

"Y/N, it's nice to see you doing all good."

"Seriously, Y/B/N. What do you need?" you utter not even bothering taking a glance at him.

" I was wondering if you'd help me with my studies?"

"Y/N, can I hit you? Is he really going with us later?" Joshua butts in while you were busy writing your notes.

"Joshy, he needs—"

"Oh cut the kindness for that bull." you shot him a look as if daring to continue to say any word about your ex.

"I've moved on, Joshy. It looks like you're the only who didn't get over me and Y/B/N break up."

"Look, he cheated on you. How can you—"

You were glad that he's interrupted by the loud knock on your door. Revealing your ex boyfriend. Wow, how I wish I have time some time to change in different clothes, you thought.

"Joshua is in the kitchen. By the way, what subjuct we're you having a hard time?"

"Look, you have to balance these two in order to get the answer."

"Oh, is that so..." you made a bored look at your ex who was leaning closer, but before he could lean forward from his seat. Appearing out of nowhere Joshua pulled the chair.

"Ops! I thought you were standing bro." you couldn't help but to let out a giggle at how iconic your ex look.

" Good one, Curly Fries." that nickname did not make your best friend happy.

"Hey you know what? How about we just focus on our lacking of understanding in the subjects? Joshua your essay needs some revision while you—focus on chemistry."

"I'm having a hard time finding chemistry!" he whines.

"But I can work out on our chemistry." he winks, Joshua almost choked on the tangerine he's eating.

Checking Joshua's homework essay was easy but since the two boys with you continue to argue and fight like little kids it tok you half an hour checking the essay. You let out a frustrating sigh, hearing the two argue.

" Can I have some tangerine?"

"No." Joshua hardly rejected, while peeling the fruit.

" Why not?" you massaged your temple hearing Joshua made a childish comment.

"Because I don't like you." he said with no hint of hesitancy, like an honest child saying to a stranger to fudge off.

"HEY!"

"I just wanted one tangerine!" your ex yelled back at  red Joshua.

" If you want some tangerine go pick some of yours in your own pantry!"

That's it, you thought. Not bearing the two.

"Would you two be quiet?!"

"No!" the two boys yelled back making you falter at their outburst.

"You know what?" your ex started pinning something that you never thought would imagine would happen.

"I thought you and Curly Fries are just friends! But the way you two hover around—I think you two are bull—" before he could finish his statement Joshua lunged him at the living room.

"Hey! Joshy let go. This is so stupid. "

Joshua shot you a guilt look as you bandage his right hand from punching your jerk ex. Well, your boyfriend is out cold resting in the sofa.

"I'm sorry if I punch him."

"You know you just looked stupid hitting a girl like Y/B/N." you tried to ease the aura between you two. Joshua wince making you draw back your hand away from his not wanting to hurt him.

But he just felt the pain of you pulling back.

"Do you still love him?"

"Joshy, why won't you just give him a damn tangerine?" you question instead of answering.

Joshua leans back and pinch the bridge of his nose.

"I didn't want him to have any."

"Seriously, are you a kid?" something made you stop at that very moment. Not because how Joshua held your arm with such eagerness. His gaze was different.

You felt your heart beats triple faster because of that.

" Did you know that tangerine also means happiness? "

" Joshua every objects has symbols—"

" I didn't want him to take my tangerine." it felt weird hearing that and at the same time it was something that made you realize something you've been dreading to hear from him. Ever since.
