You grabbed your purse inside your closet, waking up Joshua on your bed.

"Hey, you awake already." he utter, his voice was raspy.

"I just need to be early for work." you wished in your head to be that convincing enough to make him believe you.

"Hmm?... Okay, can't wait to cuddle you when you got home." sprawling his body on your comfy bed.

You couldn't help but to crack a sweet smile to him and be all excited to the surprise anniversary that you were gonna throw for him tonight.

" Ross? Could you help me with something? " you almost cursed when his dirty blonde locks pops out of nowhere, pulling him into a big warm hug.

"I'm already here, Y/N!"  His goofy smile welcomes you and sat beside you.

"Ross Shor Lynch, don't you dare do that again! You almost gave me a heart attack." he apologized.

" Well...?" Ross asked, excitedly but at the same time nervous.

" It's..." shoving the object in front of him, his eyes went wide.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N! It's positive, congratulations!" your best friend hugs you happily.

"Joshua is gonna be so happy." you couldn't help but to cry, Ross gave you a pleasing smile and tuck a strand of hair behind your hair.

"So, could you help me throw a surprise for him?"

"Of course, Y/N!"

Joshua was still on his work, while you and Ross Lynch started decorating your house.

"You sure he wouldn't mind that I'm here—?"

"Why would you think tha—" Ross interrupts you with a understanding smile and answered.

"Because he might get jealous." you made a look, but instead of answering you gave him the cake that you just baked. Setting it on the table, wonderfully.

"I'm sure, he won't." you reassured him, as your hand gave a sudden shock to Ross. As expected the feelings he has for you takes place, reminding him how he didn't have the guts to tell you that— 

"You okay?" you asked worriedly. Ross shrugged and continues preparing the table.

"Is the grand present is already—''

" Holy cow! Almost forgot about that! "you face palmed, Ross shook his head at how forgetful you are.

You were about to go down the ladder when you dubiously missed a step, making you scream in fear for the baby.

" Y/N! " Luckily, Ross caught you preventing you to fall to the hard ground. You landed on his firm chest, Ross groaned in pain.

"Oh my... Are you okay?"

"Y/N, you're not hurt and the..?" he tried to get up, when you heard someone walked inside the room.

"What's happening here?" a voice filled the silent room. It was Joshua.

"Joshua, you're here—where are you goin—"

"Home, it's clear that you're busy dallying with someone." Joshua bicker. You frowned and followed him outside.

Ross was about to help and explain but you just sent him away.

"I'll talk to him. Don't worry." you followed your boyfriend and pull him into a surprise hug, you wanted him to hug you—

"Y/N don't. It's clear that I'm the one here who just assumed that you love—"

"I-I do! I love you, Joshua. " Joshua didn't want you to make him stupid, so he just snapped out.

" You're just like everyone else! Who just wanted to date guys who have fun and in the end—" Joshua exhaled, his head stayed on his side, burning.

" How dare you to speak such... a thing." you cried, trying to push down the heaviness on your chest.

" Joshy, I thought you trust me." Joshua expression quickly changes when you said the next sentence.

" Joshua, I'm pregnant."

"Y/N... You're what—Wait!" he stutter, completely stun about what you just revealed to him. He tried to calm you down and hold you in joy.

"I'll just go..."

"Not until—" gripping the grand present and shove it to him.

Instead of asking he opened the box, he almost falter on his position as Joshua pulled the positive PT.

" This is great, Y/N! I'm so happy—" Joshua were already running for you as you tried to exit the house.

" Look, I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean it." you glared at him and groaned when Joshua successfully stood on your way preventing you to leave the house.

" Get out of my way! " you yelled.

Making Joshua and you jump in surprise at your outburst.

It was the first time you yelled like that to Joshua.

"No, I won't allow you—Just—UGF!" you jumped at him, you legs entangle around his waist as he instinctively carry you.

" You're really pregnant." he said in awe, his brow raised not believing that you are having his baby.

" I'm sorry." you cried, your emotions overwhelms you which surprised the both of you.

"I know and I'm sorry too Y/N about what I said," Joshua rests his forehead to yours, kissing your cheeks, nose and lips.

" It's stupid, I know. But I love you—" Joshua carefully laid you on the bed, gently.

"Sshhh... I know, I know." kissing him deeply, Joshua couldn't believe that he have you and the baby that would tremendously complete him.

"I can't believe I'm gonna be a dad."
