"So you're admitting now that you like Blade?!" Cali's eyes widened when I suddenly asked her about Blade's relationship status.

"Like agad? Crush lang!" sabi ko kaagad.

"Doon lang din naman pupunta! I like Josiah kasi crush ko siya!" She shook her head. "And to answer your question, Blade is single. He's too busy since this can be his last playing year since he's graduating."

"Hindi ba siya magtetake ng masteral para makapaglaro pa siya next season?" curious na tanong ni Lor.

"I don't know. He hasn't told us about his plan yet," Cali answered. "Wait. I remember Josiah is going to Friends and Lovers tonight. Let's go there! Sunday naman tomorrow. Blade will definitely go, too."

Umayos kaagad ako ng upo. "Sure ba 'yan? Baka mamaya hindi siya kasama, ha!"

Kahit na tinatamad akong pumunta ay pumayag pa rin ako. Sayang ang chance! Kung wala siya, e 'di wala. At least makakapag-enjoy pa rin ako. Pero paano kapag meron?

I asked for my parent's permission first before getting dressed. Mom is still at the hospital for her night shift while Dad just got home from work.

I saw Zeke in the living room when I came down to wait for Lorelei. Nasa balikat niya pa rin ang duffel bag habang nasa kaliwang kamay ang sapatos. Mukhang kakauwi lang galing training.

"Where are you going?" he asked before glancing at what I was wearing. "Going to Friends and Lovers again?"

My lips parted. "How did you know?"

"I just know."

At dahil wala pa naman si Lorelei ay sinamahan ko muna siya sa dining area para kumain. When Lorelei came, he reminded me about my time or else he'll use the double lock of the front door.

Friends and Lovers is one of the well known clubs among students. It is our go to club. This club is always packed, usually full of students from SVU and RU dahil iyon ang malapit na University sa location.

"What should we drink?" I asked them.

"I'm thinking of something fruity tonight. Maybe a margarita?" Lorelei asked while eyeing the drink menu.

Cali chuckled. "Margaritas sound good. I might go for a mojito, though. I need something refreshing."

In the end, I got cosmopolitan. Cali went with her mojito. Lorelei decided on a strawberry margarita. I don't really have a plan on getting wasted tonight since I'm tired so I'm trying to control my drink. Zeke might also scold me once I get home drunk.

As I sipped my drink, my gaze drifted across the room. My eyes widened slightly as I spotted a familiar face in the crowd. Blade was sitting at a table on the other side of the bar, surrounded by their other teammates, including Cali's crush.

My heart skipped a beat and quickly looked away. Mabuti nalang talaga at pumayag akong sumama.

"Well, well, well. Look who's here," Cali said with a mischievous grin on her face. Mukhang napansin na niya ang mga ito. "I'll let him know that we're here."

"Maki-table nalang tayo sa kanila. Sila-sila lang naman, eh," suhestiyon ni Lorelei.

"Let's do that kapag dalawa nalang sila ni Josiah ang nasa table," Cali nodded.

Cali typed something on her phone. I sip on my drink before settling down. I couldn't steal a glance at him because he was sitting behind me. Sana lang ay hindi niya ako mahuling tumitingin sa kanya.

After a few minutes, Cali put down her phone before taking a sip on her mojito.

"He already saw me. I told him that we'll go to their table once they're other teammates leave. Try to strike a conversation with him, ZG, okay?"
