Becky's Pov

My date with Tony had gone relatively well.. I didn't know if I was ready for something more.. I changed and I lay on my bed.. I kept thinking about Colby. No, it wasn't that I was still in love, it was that I didn't know whether to talk to him about Audrey or not. I was very confused.. I slept without realizing.. I opened my eyes and I looked the time on my phone.. The clock said 10 exactly.. First time in a long time I slept until this time.. I got up, took a bath, i got dressed and start driving for Ashley's house. I didn't want to stay in mine. I need to talk to someone.. And she was the only one I trusted.. I arrived and rang her doorbell.. She opened and she looked at me..

"Good Morning" she gave me a strange look

"Good morning.." I told her and I came in.

"You came early for Audrey," she said as well as closed the door.

"No, I didn't come to get my angel.. So I came, but I didn't come here just for that "I told her anxious

"Ok. Something's wrong here, what is it? "she asked me and stared at me

"I'll tell you after I say good morning in my child first," I told her and I proceeded in the lounge. Audrey was sitting in Manuel's arms and they watched together Disney cartoons\

"Good Morning Becks" he smiled at me

"Good morning, Manu, everything okay? You're not tired with Audrey, are you? "I asked him in agony

"No.. You know I love to hold my god daughter" he smiled

"Good morning, mommy" she told me without looking at me

"Good morning little One" I smiled at her and gave her a kiss on the forehead

"Manuel Baby, hold her a little more we have something to say,with Becks" Ashley told him.

"Yes, baby, don't worry, we doing great here" he said and he tickled Audrey's tummy she laughed

"OK.. lets go in the kitchen, "she told me and we entered the kitchen.. I sat on the table and she put coffee on a mug

"So let's start from the basics how was your date"she asked me and I stayed in silence for a while.. I had a sip of coffee and I looked at her

"He is here" I told her finally

"I don't care who is here, I want to know everything about your date with Tony, will you tell me or will you shut me up?" he asked me.

"Ashley, look at me I'm talking to you. He is here, "I told her one more time and she look at me surprised.

"Who Came, Becks?" she asked me confused

"Can't you imagine?" i told her as i was drinking my coffee

"No, I haven't got any imagination" she replied and he drank a sip of her coffee.. A few minutes prevailed between us.. At the end of it I told her

"Colby" I told her and she almost drowned with her coffee with look at me straight in the eyes

"Can you repeat that slowly once again?" she told me while she was looking in my eyes

"Colby is here in Davenport," I told her, and with her hands rubbed her face.

"Do we know why is he here and how long is he going to stay?"she asked immediately

"I have no idea" I replied

"And how do you know he's here? You follow him to the Social Media? " she asked with her raised brow

"I saw him" I replied

"How? When?" she asked shocked

"Last night at Tony's shop, he was getting coffee," I told and I looked at her..

"And how did you felt that you saw him? again"she asked me with calm voice

"I don't know.. It's not about how I feel, "I told her

"Then what is it about" he asked me with interest

"I'm confused" I told her and she holed my hand

"About your feelings for him?" she asked me calmly

"No.. about what I'm going to do with Audrey "I told her and I shook her hand

"What do you mean?" she asked me

"You know what I mean Ash. I don't know if I should tell him or if a have to pretend that she is not existing" i told her

"Rebecca, you know my opinion. He should has already know about her. He has a right to know.. No matter what happened between you too, he is still her father. " she told me the I looked at her

"Yes but..." I tried to say but she didn't let me.

"No more but .. He has to knowe .. Even if he ignores it, he have to learn that you two have a daughter" she said softly

"I can't turn Audrey's life upside down Ashley" i mumbled

"I never said we'd talk to Audrey. First we have to learn what he's doing here for how long he's going to stay and what he wants, and then you have to tell him, you can't hide it forever, "she told me

"What if I don't want to?" i asked

"He will find out..If he is back here forever at some point sooner or later, he'll find out you have a child. " she told me

"He maybe will think that I have her with another man" I told her and she looked at me with a raised eye brow

" Yeah He will believe it in the beginning.. And sooner or later, he'll know that you're not married, he'll know that you were pregnant and he'll know she's his , and then he'll ask for explanations, and no matter how angry it makes me say that.., he'll have the right on his side, " she told me and she looked at me

I looked her and deep inside me even if I didn't want to admit it I knew she was right.. I had to talk to him.. He has know, He has a right to know I just didn't want to do it yet I didn't feel ready for it. I had to find out first why he was here, for how long he'd stay before tell him something like that.

"OK.. I'll think about it and I will tell him.. You're right.. He must know the truth even if he never sees her. I'm just not ready to do it not yet, "I told her and she nodded affirmative

"OK.. Ok lets talk about something else " she smiled at me

"Why are you looking at me like that?" i asked her

"Say how was your date," she told me and I looked at her

"It was good. We had a great time and..... "I hesitated

"What happened?" she asked

"He returned me home and he kissed me," I told her and she laughed.

"Wow.. And? How was it? How did you felt? "she asked me excited

"I felt uncomfortable .. I don't know.. I'm somehow confused about everything

that happens. I want to take it easy "I told her and she nodded

"You're right after four years alone you don't need to be in a hurry," he agreed and I smiled.

I knew Ashley my whole life. She was the sister I never have. I love my brother, but he doesn't understand me.... Ashley's here, she's always here.. She never left my side not even for a moment i wasn't alone. And she's never judged me for anything. She is always on my side.. she fights me too often for things I do and she doesn't agree, but I know that she loves me. And she loves Audrey too. She's her godmother.. Her second mother.. We count over 20 years of friendship... And she is the only person i trust.. I just love her.. and i feel lost without her.. i feel blessed that i have her in my life!
