Rebecca's Pov

I walked slowly towards him and sat near him.. he wiped his eyes when he realized I was there.. I touched his shoulder, but he didn't react.. He stayed in the same spot. With Audrey's teddy bear in his chest.. Without talking without looking at me.. His breath was slow, a tear escaped from his eyes and rolled slowly into his cheek. No matter how many years I've known Colby, I've never seen him this way, no matter what happened..This time only one word could describe him.. Devastated..

It wasn't just that Tony had kidnapped our child, it wasn't that he felt responsible deep down for what had happened, it was that he saw that we accused him for being responsible, too..That I accuse him that he is responsible.. And that hurt him more.. And I knew it wasn't his fault.. I caressed his back slowly

"I'm sorry, Colby," I mumbled.. he didn't even look at me

"For what?" he asked slowly

"For. for blaming you.. I know it's not your fault what happened to our child," I told him.. he turned around and looked at me.. his eyes are blurry, sad.. he looked at me with disappointment

"This is not the time to discuss this, Rebecca.. not now," he said to me in a trembling voice

"But" I tried to say he put his finger on my lips

"Not now.. now we have to find a solution to bring our child home safely," he told me.. I hugged him.. I buried my face in his chest.. He held me reluctantly.. I tightened my body more against his, and he tightened me on it. He kissed me in the hair.. my eyes began to weep, his T-shirt was drenched of me tears..

"Calm down Rebecca.. you'll see our girl will come back" he said to me calmly

"I'm afraid, Colby.I'm afraid.. that's the second time I've almost loosing her," I mumbled..

"Come on.. we'd better go inside and everything will be all right, " he said to calm me down..

We finally went back to the living room.. I sat near Ashley and Paige.. He sat distant from the others.. He wasn't looking at as.. He was looking Roman.. It was dawn and none of us could sleep when we finally heard the phone. Roman made a signal for us to pick it up while the call was being recorded and he was trying to trace where the place that the calling come from.. Colby picked up the phone..

"Yes" he answered with all the coolness he had

"Oh, Well look who is my friend Colby.. I guess you know I have your daughter" The Voice of Tony was heard on the other line

"I know Tony.. what are you asking for to get my daughter back?" he ask calmly

"I want 20 million and I want it right away" he replied

"It's too much money I can't find it too fast" he replied while everyone was wondering since no one could hear the conversation

"20 million in 5 days Colby or else say goodbye to your precious little girl, I'll call you in 4 hours to see what you have decided" he said and he closed the phone..

Colby's Pov

Our agony was in red.. I felt broken up about all this, but I was determined to get my daughter back, whatever that meant, whatever I had to do. The phone call with Tony didn't exactly go well.. I guess I heard him pretty angry..I hung up the phone and looked at them

"What did he say?" Ashley asked anxiously

"He asked for 20 million in 5 days" I replied calmly

"And you told him there was no money?"Paige asked nervously

"Yeah,' cause there's no money Paige, " I answered trying to stay cool Dean looked at me angry

"Are you playing with my niece's life, you son of a bitch? you don't wanna pay?"he asked and prepared to attack me

"And he handled it very well" Roman stopped him

"Excuse me are you kidding me??"asked Dean

"If you succumb so easily to his blackmail he won't stop there he handled it brilliantly" Roman replied

"Are you kidding me, Roman ? my daughter's life is in danger "I heard Rebecca say

"You need to calm down, Becky," Alexa told her caressing her back

"I'll calm down the moment I take my child in my hand" she answered and looked at me a little angry//

"What else did he say to you, Colby ?'Ashley asked

"He'll call in 4 hours to tell him what I decided" I answered and got my cell phone from the table.. I called Mike

"Hello, Mike, did I awake you up ? Well, I'm glad.. Listen to me.. I have a serious problem.. I'll send you a bill and I want you to send me 20 million..yeah, you heard right.. yeah, from yours.. I know I can't pay you back..I'm gonna sell my house In N.Y and some of my stock-holdings from the company to Lana.. they kidnapped my daughter.. You are a father you know how i feel right now.. I want them as soon as possible.. Yeah.. talk to the bank manager.. all right, Mike.. a kiss from me to your women," I told him and hung up the phone.. Roman looked at me

"What did you do?"he asked me

"What I had to do.. I promised myself I'd do whatever it takes to get Audrey back," I told him for sure

"But if you sell out your property then you'll stay in nothing" Roman told me and I looked at him

"Nobody's lost, Roman. don't worry about me.. what matters is that my child comes back" I answered him and filled my glass with whiskey.. I sat in a chair..

My feelings were mixed.. I felt guilty about Audrey's abduction and at the same time an incredible disappointment that I had to take over Tony's moves.. in everyone's eyes, I was responsible.. Me and no one else. Hours went by excruciating slowly.. It didn't take 4 hours as promised and Audrey was definitely away from us for more than 24 hours.. We finally heard the phone ring.. I took a deep breath and I picked it up

"I have the answer you want" I told him with certainty

"Mmm, I have a counter proposal for you, Colby." he told me

"I hear" I told him strictly

"I'll give you your precious little girl back if I get Rebecca in exchange..and no money, " he replied.. I shook my fist

"Forget it, Tony.it's not gonna happen. "I told him nervously

"Will you risk it?"he asked me to play with me

"I'll make you a counter-proposal you won't be able to resist," I said..

"I hear you" he said with interest

"20 million to take back my child and me away from them forever" I replied

"I'll call you in 2 hours with the answer," he said, and I could tell he was smiling with pleasure.. I hung up.. Manuel looked at me in shock

"What did you do?"he asked me firmly

"What I had to do, he want to exchange Rebecca in Audrey.. and I gave him what he really wants."I answered and finished my whiskey..

"Roman, we found out where the calls are coming from>" Alexa asked

"From telephone booths all over the city," he answered disappointed..

It didn't take a few minutes when my phone rang again.. I got it.. there was a whisper..

"Who is it ? Pamela? yeah, yeah, I hear you.. "I told her I hung up the phone and threw it in a hurry on the couch.. I looked at them..
