Carol's Change

Chapter Eleven

You know learning how to do hair will save you some trouble if you don't have money in the long run but it doesn't beat having a great barber or stylist doing it though!

They approached Natasha who was laying on the bed reading the Communist Revolution.

"Alright Natasha we need a favor." Tony cut to the chase.

"Well gentlemen it seems you couldn't handle telling her the dreadful truth?" She smiled.

"Don't tell her yet, she doesn't seem to understand what's she's capable of and we could use her on the team." Steve explained.

"Guess we have to start from the ground up, don't worry guys I'll handle this you just find a way to fix all this." She jumps outta the bed towards her room.

"She's going for the makeup tactic, she uses a warm environment to seep in the reality." Tony analyzes.

"So basically like having a tea party and telling them the bad news during it?" Hulk says.

"Basically." Tony says.

Nat comes out a box a clothes and accessories later as she hops on the elevator and immediately drops down to the room. Carol was surprised by the redhead with a box in her arms as she sits besides her with a small smile appearing outta her face.

"Hi Carol, my name's Natasha, Natasha Romanoff. I brought you some stuff to make you feel more comfortable in the meantime."

She took out some clothes, cleaning and make-up products, and entertainment for her to use.

"I really appreciate it but I can't take your stuff." Carol kindly tries to refuse but Nat insists.

"Don't worry about these, just think of them as hand me downs for the meantime." She smirks looking at one of the shirts as Carol looks through them.

Carol find a brush and brushes her hair thoroughly as the golden luscious waves cascade down her chest and spread out across her thighs.  Nat her long vibrant red hair in multiple small braids as she came behind her and combed through her hair.

"Mmm, it's very soft and thick for being up in space so long." Natasha playfully teased as she runs her fingers through Carol's tresses making her slightly blush.

"Well your hair is very beautiful as well Natasha." Carol nervously complimented Nat, a small smile appears across her face. Carol covers the side of her face in embarrassment as Nat chuckles.

"Thanks, I do the best with it when possible. I usually have it short for missions and traveling but I guess that didn't matter much lately."

"What's the shortest you've ever had?" Carol asks as Nat continues to brush her blond hair unphased.

"Pixie but never went that short in years, barely felt my own buzzcut." She smirks as Carol has a interested face going on.

Nat says as she starts to trim her split ends. "Got any idea what you want to do with it?" She asks as she moves a large piece of hair in the mirror for her to see.

"Not sure. It was alot shorter last I can remember, around my shoulders but I don't know if I wanna keep it this way, could get in the way of things." She holds the mass of hair in her hands and back to the mirror.

"I'll take that as a yes and we'll work from there." Nat says as she places a cape around her.

Carol looked on pleased with her with new mid length style as she wears a green jacket with a Van Halen shirt, green cargo pants, and some green sport shoes. She places her hair in a messy bun and turns back to Nat.

"I don't think I should go up there, I've done too much evil to get any redemption." She sighs as she sulks back into the bed.

"I thought the same thing once, I basically lived it but it'll take years and right now you aren't alone to do it. Your ledger will be cleared one day, promise." Natasha makes a small smile as she helps Carol up.

"Also clean that hairy mess on the floor before you go." She smirks as she walks away and exits the room

"Okay, back to square one." Carol claps her hands together.

Chapter Eleven! This one took a formal odd turn but consider this semi filler in the meantime. I do like Carol Danvers but she doesn't always have to be like a rock everytime so it's great to experiment with the character. We will get more of Natasha's and Carol's friendship arc later on as we head into the War Arc! Hope you have a great day and enjoy yourself!
