“Aww, come on. Throw a punch at me, baby! A little more if it tickles your fancy.” A man with bright pink hair plays with my own hair that’s flopped over the mask, touching places I could easily make a restraining order over. My eye twitches from annoyance, this guy hasn’t left me alone all day. I may like dick, but not this guy’s. Never this guy’s. I never want to fall in love again, anyway. After what he did to me… Piggeh regains my attention. “I’ve heard so much about you…” He makes a kissy face, and I deadpan. What is his problem?
“Stop talking to me,” I say in a low voice, and he giggles, flirting with me again.
“Why?” He tugs on my collar, trying to kiss me playfully, and I lean away. People pass by in the halls wince, as if they can tell that my anger is slowly rising. “You aren’t having any fun… my feelings are hurt!” I try to walk away, but he grabs my sleeve, trying to pull me closer.
“I’m leaving,” I say coldly, and he snickers. I try to take a deep breath and pry his hand out of my grip, but he moves out of my reach. “Like I said, stop talking to me. I have no interest in a person like you.”
“Come on, I’m Piggeh! Everyone loves me…” Suuuureee. He pouts for a second, and I notice Red at the end of the hallway. She has her back to me, so no chance I’ll be getting any help. “Anyways, you didn’t ask me nicely to go away.” Really, I’ll do anything for him to leave me alone, so I comply.
“Please stop talking to me.” I smile impatiently under my mask, tapping my foot, and he seems to think for a second. My anger is suppressed, but I can feel it boiling. A wide grin stretches across his face.
“No!”
I blink slowly.
“What… did you… just say… to me?” My voice comes out as a threatening whisper, and he seems to realize he’s gone too far a little too late. Piggeh takes a step away from me, and I take a step forward. His back hits the wall.
“I – “
He’s cut off by my fist connecting with his eye. He goes down with one hit… that’s going to be a black eye. He’s all bark and no bite.
“Next time do what I ask,” I say dismissively, and he groans in pain holding his eye. Red waves at me from across the hallway, and I step over Piggeh, and walk over to her.
“Sorry about Piggeh. He’s one of Felix’s weirder friends. Pretty perverted, too, I’m glad you set him straight.” She giggles for a second, and I say nothing, still seething. Of course the boy from before, Felix, sent his freakin’ friends after me. Like I need more enemies. “Not that he is straight, though.” I know she meant no offense toward me saying that, so instead I laugh quietly. By the way he shamelessly flirted, I could tell he’ll go for anyone.
“I didn’t want to get in a fight today. You asked me not to, and I’m really sorry.” Red seems taken aback by my apology, but then she laughs, and punches me on the shoulder.
