"Cry... please don't be mad at me." Minx tugs on my arm, but I refuse to look at her. She smacks my arm, and her lip is trembling. "Look, I'm sorry I stayed close to him, even though you wanted to pull away a little! You don't even know what it's like. You..."
"Minx, I have to fucking entertain him. Do you know what Felix would do to me if he knows that I still do that?" I grit my teeth, trying not to yell at her.
"No, I don't know what he would do." She sneers at me. "Enlighten me, Mad."
"My name is not Mad." I stop the car in the middle of the road and grab the front of her shirt violently. "And if you ever call me that again, I'll kill you, Minx."
"I mean too much to you," she says with a smirk. I throw back my head and laugh out loud. She really thinks that.
"No, you don't." I start driving again. Minx leans away from me, touching her collar. "I mean it. That isn't my name anymore. If you call me it, I won't just kill you. I won't help Krism. She'll die and I won't lift a damn finger."
"...Fine." She crosses her arms and looks out the window. "But please, Cry. I know you're mad at me. I left you behind and all. But please... help Krism."
"I will," I say quietly. But I don't know if I can.
What if I let her die, just like what happened with Amy? My mom died for nothing. I watched her bleed out, and I could only watch. I'm supposed to be the responsible one. I'm supposed to protect my family.
Amy... if you're listening, wherever you are, I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry.

"Cry." Ken is lounging on an old rotting sofa, the one I kissed Pewdie on. I'm here at one of the first places we went on a date to. "I thought you would be here sooner or later."
"You killed Amy, you bastard." I clench my fists, opening and closing them. He chuckles and turns his head to smile at me.
"Yes, I did, what's it to you?" He leans back, obviously feeling completely at ease. "Minx, you didn't do your full job." I turn toward her, and she looks away. She... she betrayed me...
I should've known.
"Sir, I didn't know he wouldn't bring Felix. I know you wanted to see the boyfriend," Minx says nervously. I slip my hand into my pocket and hold onto the handle of the knife I brought. Minx is still talking, making excuses, "Please. Let me see Krism again."
"Krism! Get in here!" Ken yells, and the same old Krism walks in, with her head down a little. Her hair is still jet black, like I remember. But now her eyes have a weird red tint to them.
Like mine once did.
Minx runs forward and the two embrace. IN any other situation, I'd be happy for them. Ken smiles and waves the two off, gesturing for me to sit down.
I don't.
I think this is probably the first order I've disobeyed since... well... I can't remember.
"Why did you kill her?" I demand, and Ken shrugs, taking a drag of his cigarette. He looks amused. I grab his collar and pull his face up to mine. "TELL ME!"
"Because I felt like it," he says simply, and I let go. He... killed Amy... because he... felt like it...?
"You fucking..." He smacks my shoulder and grins. My grip on the knife is so tight that I think my hand might fall off. I'm going to kill him.
