The next morning Dumbledore decided that it was safe for us to go back to the common room where we could prepare for school. Ron, Hermione, Harry and I left the common room for DADA class along with Seamus, Dean and Neville. Our group stopped our front of the portraithole to look at Sir Cadogan who is now guarding Gryffindor's house for the time being.
"Who dares challenge Sir Cadogan! Back, you scurvy braggarts! You rogues!" Sir Cadogan exclaimed as we were leaving. "He's barking mad!" Seamus said and Dean nodded agreeing with him "What d'you expect? After what happened to the Fat Lady, none of the other pictures would take the job."
Neville pulled a crumpled piece of paper from his robes as he spoke "But he keeps changing the password. Twice just this morning! I've taken to keeping a list." I gave him a weary glance and paused to talk to him while Ron, Hermione and Harry kept going. "I don't think that's a good idea Neville."
Neville frowned "Why?" I shrugged slightly "What if you lost it anyone could get in" Neville shook his head frantically "I won't. I swear" I smiled softly at him and left for class, I walked into the room and sat down beside Harry since Hermione wasn't there yet.
Everyone was talking amongst themselves but quickly went silent when Snape entered the room instead of my father. He walked up the pathway fastly and flicked his wand towards the windows magically shutting the blinds making the room darker. He stopped in the front and pulled down a screen
He faced the class the same stoic expression as usual "Turn to page 394." Snape started back down the pathway watching as we each opened our book to the page instructed. Harry leaned closer to me "Where's your dad?" I hesitated unsure how to answer but mustered up a shrug.
Wanting to know more Harry sat up and questioned Snape. "Excuse me, sir, but... where's Professor Lupin?" Snape stopped in his place "That's not really your concern, is it, Potter? Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time." Snape continued on to the back of the room until he met the projector "Turn to page 394."
Harry looked back at me "He's okay. I have an idea where he is" I left it at that giving him a vague answer to the question I knew he would ask again. "Werewolves?" I heard Ron question out loud shocked by the lesson for the day. My breath had hitched and I instantly turned in my seat my eyes hardening at Snape knowing what he was doing.
He hated my father, even though he never did anything to him specifically he was friends with the people who did. "But, sir, we've only just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks --" Hermione stares from her seat to my right in the next row.
"Quiet!" Snape snapped. "When did she come in? Did you see her come in..." Ron whispered to Harry who only shrugged in response. "Now. Which of you can difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Snape asked as he walked towards the front of the class while the projector went through a cycle of different pictures. He turned around and ignored Hemiones eager hand. "No one? How... disappointing." Snape deadpanned, although I knew the answer thanks to my fathers habits I still did not want to risk anything.
"Please, sir, an Animagus is a wizard who elects into an animal. A werewolf has no choice in the Furthermore, the werewolf actively hunts humans responds only to the call of its own kind" Draco howled which made his goons laugh and a few other Slytherins. "Thank you, Mr.Malfoy! That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Tell me."
Snape slowly approached Hermione's desk "Are you incapable of restraining yourself? Or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?" I glared at the potions professor "Pardon me professor but I don't think that calling students rude names is under the definition of professionalism"
Few people let out quiet gasps surprised by my comment towards the dark professor. Snape glared down at me "Yes I'm sure you would know all about professionalism with your father being as much Ms. Lupin" Draco snickered but yelled quietly when I used my powers to smack the back of his head. "For the two of you speaking out of turn. Five points from Gryffindor!"
Some of the Gryffindors groaned but it was covered by Snapes booming voice as he addressed the class. "As an antidote to your ignorance, I prescribe two rolls of parchment on the werewolf by Monday morning, with particular emphasis placed on recognizing it."
Hermione and I seemed to have been the only ones who hadn't groaned about the writing assignment. "Sir it's Quidditch tomorrow." Harry said exasperatedly which led to Snape leaning against our desk staring down at Harry. "Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr. Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you. Turn to page 394." He walked away from our desk
"The term "werewolf"... is a contraction of the Anglo-Saxon word "wer"... which means "man," and "wolf." Werewolf, man-wolf. There are several ways to become a werewolf. They include being given the power of shape-shifting... being bitten by a werewolf..." I tuned out of his lecture and looked over at Harry who had opened the paper Draco sent to him.
It was a sketch of Harry in his quidditch robes being struck by lightning. I sighed at the paper and quietly took it from him, I carefully crumpled it back up and stuffed it into my bag to throw out later.

Hermione, Ron and I stood together actively watching Harry in the quidditch match. I thought to use the impervius charm on our clothes so we wouldn't get wet which helped us thanks to the pouring rain. I was all jittery in my spot "Come on Harry.." I muttered anxiously "He's doing fine Phelia calm down or you're going to break my arm."
Ron instructed and I instantly released my right grip on his forearm I hadn't realized I had. I looked back up to the sky waiting to see Harry flying down with the snitch but instead saw him free falling. "Harry!" I screamed and threw my hands out to stop him with my powers but Dumbledore had already casted Arresto Momentum to slow him.
I pushed my way through the stands and down to the pitch right to Harry's side. "Harry!" I knelt next to him worriedly and ignoring the fierce calls of Professor McGonnagal who was trying to get me out of the field. "Harry" I called again only quieter, I gently shook his body but he refused to wake up. Madam Pompfree came over and used a spell to pick Harry up and bring him to the hospital wing with me hot on her trail.
