I quickly got up and ran after him. Aaliyah sat quietly in the house, looking uneasy. She was talking to Matt and Taylor And Jacob.

"They're gonna be ok." I said pulling her into me, giving her a long hug.

"I know but what about shawn?" She asked me.

"What about him?" I asked looking just as confused.

"You seem him...Everyday its something different between you two. Fighting and arguing...i know you'd be fine without him." She said sighing.

"I love him. He isn't perfect (oh wait) but he is the love of my life. I can't stay mad at him forever." I told her running up to Shawn's room.

I knocked on the door and heard a light groan.

I creaked it open and saw him curled up into a ball on his bed.
I slowly walked over to him and laid down next to him.

I wrapped my arm around him and pulled him in for a hug.

"Hi shawn..." I mumbled as he silently cried.

"It's all my fault. if I were quicker-" I cut him off by pressing my lips against his. After 5 seconds I pulled away, embarrassed I did that so abruptly.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

He sat up and stared at me.

"I love you." He said taking my hand in his.

"I love you too." I told him.

His face dropped.

"What? Did I say something?"

"When you say I love you TOO it sounds like you are forcing it and don't mean it."

"I love you shawn mendes." I smiled.

"That's better."

-3 days later-

The little girl ended up being okay, just a few minor injuries.

Shawn has been acting strange although. Like something is up.

We were sitting at school at lunch with the boys when a petite blonde girl came up to the table.

She had pale blue eyes and a perfect body.

"Hi um, I'm new here." She stated. She was eyeing Shawn. Bitch go fucking eye like Taylor or Gilinsky instead.

"Hey. What's your name?" Nash sweetly asked.

"Zoe. yours?" Zoe said fixing her straight blonde hair.

Everyone introduced themselves and it got to me.

"Mikayla." I spat not even making eye contact.

"You seem really familiar." she said obviously trying to make conversation.

"Okay?" I sassed.

"Be nice." Said Johnson who was sitting to my right as shawn was to my left.

"Where are you from?" Asked Aaron.

"Vineland, New jersey." she said with a smug smile.

"Oh cool, welcome to our town. Why are you here?" Cameron inquired.

"My dad got a job offer here as some agent." Zoe explained batting her eyelashes. This bitch needs to chill.

"You wanna sit with us?" shawn politely asked.

I shot him a "really bitch?" Look and she shyly nodded.

Shawn moved closer to me and she sat right next to him.

Basically on his lap.

I didn't wanna be like oh hey shawn is mine back off bitch before I drown you in bleach.

"My house after school?" Matt asked and everyone chimed in with 'yeahs'.

"Zoe you coming?" Carter asked.

"Um would I be intruding? I am not here to crash your fun." She innocently said.

"Ye-" I was cut off by Jacob saying "of course not" and giving me a look.

I rolled my eyes.

My phone went off and I looked at the message, from Gilinsky.

JG - chill lil bitch...i see you shooting daggers into Zoe.

I flipped him off from across the table and he smirked sliding his phone back into his hoodie pocket.

"Wanna ditch right now and just go back to my house?" Matthew asked.

"Yeah." I said and everyone agreed and got up.

Zoe got up and "accidently" tripped over nothing and fell into Shawn's arms. He caught her and smiled.

"Oh my gosh! I am SOOO clumsy." she giggled and he smiled.

Stupid motherfucker. I looked at him and he smirked at me, knowing that this was pissing me off. I walked in front of him and jumped onto Matt's back.

"You good?" He smiled and I nodded.

We all got into separate cars.

Me, Matt, shawn, Jacob, and Jack Gilinsky in my car.

Nash, cam, carter, Zoe and Taylor in his car.

Johnson and Aaron in his car.

I sat in the back as Matt drove.

"I don't like this Zoe bitch." I said.

"Why? She's hot." Gilinsky said poking my side.

"Sure." I said rolling my eyes going on my instagram.

I looked at my notifications.

I clicked on her profile.

She had 729 followers, following 595.

Her bio read,

"Love my family and friends. British and Scottish💙" oh she was one of those bitches.

Ew.

I accepted her request but didn't hit her with that follow back.

I took out my phone and texted Rebecca, Matt had given me her number a few days ago.

"Matt can Rebecca come over?" I asked.

"Don't even bother texting her, she's on lockdown, studying for some Chem test like crazy." he shouted from the front seat. I groaned.

"Now I gotta spend the rest of my night with only 1 girl and stupid boys." I muttered giving the boys a playful look.

"You better hope that Zoe doesn't fuck your man...i can tell she wants him." Jacob smirked.

I rolled my eyes.

"She wants me?" Shawn's said his eyes lighting up.

"Um its obvious." Gilinsky said.

"Yeah." Matt said chiming in.

"I'll get to know her more." he smirked and I couldn't tell whether he was joking or not. I think he was. or I at least hoped he was.
