Miku's POV:
"I'll be home later!" I called as I ran out the door; but I know they don't care.
I put on my earbuds and turn on my favorite playlist as I walk down the road keeping my eyes on my shoes (I never tie my laces). Some idiot bumps into me and just keeps walking. Come on! Can't you even acknowledge the fact you bumped into me!? I mean, I'm kind of used to this...I am invisible and nobody seems able to see me. All my days are like this. I hate all these Americans I wish I still lived in Japan with my mom and dad and even my annoying oni-chan.
But thats a dream, and so of course it can't come true.
After about fifteen minutes I reach the school, a bunch of other students are walking in so I know I'm on time. A bunch of them are calling out to each other and running up to their friends. I just keep my head down and walk inside. I used to be excited for the first days of school thinking I would make a friend or two, but every year is the same.
I check my program to see which room I need to be in first, when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I spin around and see a girl, she has long pink hair (I would be weirded out except that my hair is teal). "Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering if you could help me with my locker." She said. I smiled "Of course!" She led me to her locker, which was actually the locker I had last year. "here goes." I said to myself as I twisted the lock around. Thankfully it popped open. "Wow they really need to start changing the codes on these things!" I said laughing. The girl laughed too and stuck out her hand. "Luka Megurine."
"Miku Hatsune." I replied shaking her hand. We walked to the classroom together and I was so infinitely happy! she even placed her stuff next to mine! I had finally made a friend!
"Luka-chan!" sing-songed a voice from the front. Luka twirled around. "Neru-chan!!!!" She squealed. She ran to the back of the room and embraced a girl with a long blonde ponytail. "OMG you go here too!" Neru cried. "One sec!" Luka called running over to her desk. She scooped up her stuff and ran to place them at the desk next to Neru.
I sighed. I should have known that would happen. Then the teacher came into the room. "Alrighty class take your seats. I am Mr. Shion and I will be your teacher."

The day seemed like it would never end. There was only one class left and that was music. I really didn't want to go to music. All it does is draw attention to myself. I've been through the whole experience, the girls all started giggling and the boys all stared at me with stupid smirks on their faces. Fine! I get it okay! I know my voice is terrible!
I looked out the window and laid my head on my desk. I think I'm just going to skip music, it's not like anyone will notice anyway. My eyelids feel really heavy, I think I'll just close them for a bit...
<><>Time skip<><>
I open my eyes and look around, why am I at school? Wait what time is it?! I look at the clock just as the bell rings. A few students come in and grab their backpacks. School must be out. I think I fell asleep. I turn around to get my backpack but it isn't there. I stand up and look around but it isn't anywhere! Then I see a backpack that looks REALLY similar to mine only difference is mine has a leek charm on the zipper. Great! Some Baka (A/N: Baka means Idiot in Japanese) took my backpack! I scoop up all my school supplies that was on my desk (including my binder and homework, which I used as a pillow) and head out the door. I walk outside and guess what? Yup, its raining. Are you kidding me? And I don't have my umbrella since it was IN my stupid backpack. I sigh and start to walk home. I am starting to get soaked. I get to a crosswalk and this angel of a driver signals to me to go ahead. I run as fast as I can across and just as I get to the stupid sidewalk I trip on my shoelaces. (That's what I get for not tying them!) I start to cry. I can't hold it in anymore. I tie my laces and then start to pick up my things. Stupid stupid stupid!!!
"Hey...you okay?" a voice says, and I see a a hand holding out my binder to me.
