Rin's POV:

Boarding school has always been great! The only thing I'd like to change is the fact that I can't keep an eye on my little brother. I mean technically we're twins, but I was born first and I never let him forget it.

And now I'm more anxious to see him then ever! Ever since he made a friend that's a girl

I made sure to get on the soonest subway train I could find. I'm going to make sure that I get to meet this girl!

My dad was waiting for me as usual, and I hopped into his car. This was so exciting! He tried to make a conversation with me but I could not stop thinking about Len hanging out with a girl! I think I'm obsessing over this waaaaaay too much.

After a while we finally reached my house. I jumped out of the car and ran inside.

"RIN IS HERE!" I yelled.

"Oh shoot!" Len cried making a beeline for the stairwell.

"Not this time!" I laughed and tackled him into a hug. "I missed youuuuuuuu!"

"Rin your strangling me! let go!" Len choked.

Mom came into the room. I gave her a big hug too, I noticed her eyes were sad.

"Mama what's wrong?" I asked her. Len snickers whenever I call her "Mama" but he didn't this time, which led me to believe this was serious. Had Len noticed this too? Or maybe he knew something I didn't! I couldn't handle that!

I grabbed him into a nelson. "Spill it Kagamine!" I cried jokingly.

"Ah! Rin! what the heck!!!" Len yelled.

"Rin let go of your brother please." My dad said carrying in my suitcase.

I let go. Len fell onto the floor unprepared for their suddenly being nothing propping him up.

"What aren't you guys telling me?" I asked.

"Nothing you idiot." Len snapped rubbing his neck. Then his phone started ringing from upstairs. He sprinted up the stairs and into his room.

"Mama why are you sad?" I asked again.

"Oh...It's just...some memories of a friend...back in Japan." She replied.

"Okay." I said and then dashed upstairs after Len.

He was on the phone with someone, I'm guessing his friend since no one else ever calls him.

"Yeah my sister just got back..." He was saying.

I swung his door open and snatched his phone.

"RIN!" He yelled.

"Take that Kagamine!" I laughed and put the phone to my ear. The person on the other end was laughing.

"Hello this is Rin. Are you Miku?" I asked.

"Yes this is Miku." Said the laughing voice.

"RIN! Give me back my phone!" Len cried trying to grab at it.

"Nice try banana boy." I said, winning more laughter from Miku.

"Banana boy?" She said.

"One of my many many nicknames for my little brother." I explained. Len's face LOL. "Anyways Miku, I was wondering if your free today or tomorrow?"

Len made another desperate grab for his phone. Man this kid is pathetic.

"I have some stuff to do today but I am free tomorrow." She replied.

"Perfect! You should come over!" I cried.

Len smacked his face.

"Okay I'm excited to meet the Rin I've heard so much about." Miku laughed. Oh Len is so dead.

"What kind of things?" I asked suspiciously.

"Only good things actually. I promise to bring some food with oranges in it." She replied.

"YES! PLEASE BE MY BEST FRIEND!" I cried dancing around on Len's bed.

Miku laughed.

I handed the phone back to Len. "Your girlfriend's the best person in existence!" I said.

Len snatched the phone. "Get out!" He yelled shoving me through the door.

This is the best deal ever! I get to meet Len's "friend" and she's going to make me something with oranges! I don't even care what it is! I wonder how much Len actually told her...
