Mikuo's POV:
The police lady had filled us in on the whole story and how Miku's friend...Len? I think that was his name. How he called 911 and they got there just in time.
We burst into the hospital room.
Miku's friend was sitting in a chair but he jumped up when he saw us.
"You came!" He cried happily.
Dad stood confusedly in the doorway while I crossed over to Len and pulled him into a bear hug.
"Thank you..." I whispered. "Thank you so much."
I let go and the poor kid's face was red with embarrassment. Then he turned to my dad and bowed. "Hello Mr. Hatsune. I'm Miku's friend from school."
Dad smiled, but then he frowned again and went to Miku.
"H...how is she?" He asked Len.
"I don't know." Len mumbled. "They won't tell me anything."
"Well they better tell me." My dad growled. His eyes flashed and he wheeled about to go find a nurse.
Five minutes later the nurse was leading my dad back into the room. They had definitely been talking a while, but me and Len only heard the last few words that made us both turn white.
"...we don't know when, or if, she'll wake up."
