He sighed as he walked next to his dad through the hotel hallway. He had no idea what he was doing here. His dad had kept it very hush hush and no matter how persistent [name] was with his questions, his dad resisted, saying he would have to wait and see. They stopped outside of a door and Soichiro Yagami lifted his fist, knocking on it lightly.
The door opened and [name] was greeted with a dark pair of eyes with bags underneath. He tensed up at the strange looking man as he moved to the side to let them in.
"Who is this?" The black haired man asked, eyes staring holes into the side of [name]'s face. "This is my son. I thought it was time he joined the investigation. If anyone knows Light it's him." Soichiro said.
"Dad, what is going on? Why did you bring me here?" [name] questioned firmly. He was running out of patience. "Please take a seat." His father told him. [name] was even more tense but listened to his father and sat down on the couch.
His father sat on the couch in front of him and put his hands together while the black haired man sat weirdly on the one seater, a plate of cake held in his hands. "This is L."
[name] widened his eyes and snapped his head to the man. "Wait, L? As in the L? The one that's going after Kira?" He asked quickly and his father nodded his head. "I am helping him with his investigation."
"I don't understand, why are you telling me this?" He questioned. He thought this would have been top secret. "Because we need your help." Soichiro said.
"With what?"
"To get your brother to confess to being Kira." L said bluntly. [name] couldn't help the gasp that left his mouth and he glared between the two men. "Excuse me?!"
"Just calm down - "
"Calm down?!" [name] snapped at his head. "He just accused Light of being Kira. My brother - your son. How could you let him do this - Wait, you don't actually believe him do you?"
"Of course not but L has stated that he wouldn't let Light being a suspect go unless we brought you in - "
"You are the older brother that he looks up to." L stuck a piece of cake in his mouth. "If he would confess to anyone, it would be you. Maybe even try to recruit you to his side."
"You have no idea what you're talking about." [name] snapped at him before glaring at his father. "I'm not involving myself in any delusions this guy has." His father tried to call out for him but [name] ignored him, leaving through the door he came in only moments before.
