"Kagami! There's something I have to tell you." [name] said quickly, grabbing the redheads hand and pulling him back from heading into the game.

"Babe the games starting, I don't have time. Just tell me after." Kagami replied, slipping his hands out of the other males and jogging onto the court.

"But..." Oh no, [name] thought and threw his head back in frustration. What he had to tell Kagami something really important and he couldn't wait until after the game but it was to late now. He walked over to the side of the court and sat on the bench where the spare players were sitting and brought his hand up to his chin.

Kagami ran onto the court, stretching his arms and warming himself up for what he knew was going to be an interesting game, since they were playing a team that had one of the Generation of Miracles.

"Hey, you're Kagami, right?" Kagami turned around and saw the person he was just thinking about. Aomine. One of the Generation of Miracles. He nodded his head, putting his guard up. "Huh." Aomine looked him up and down with a judging stare. "He really did down grade."

"What?" Kagami questioned in confusion.

"He didn't tell you?" Aomine smirked darkly.

"What are you going on about?" Kagami was getting annoyed with the way the other male was speaking.

"[name]." Aomine said bluntly and Kagami shut his mouth, his lips forming into a straight line. "I was his boyfriend but I dumped him because he wasn't satisfying my needs."

The words sent a shock of anger through Kagami and he looked over at the bench at his boyfriend who was watching the interaction nervously. "What did you just say?" He growled out.

Aomine's smirk widened and he leaned forward even so slightly. "I broke up with him because he was a lousy fuck."

Within a second, Kagami had his fist raised and flying through the air, hitting Aomine square in the nose and causing him to fall back on his ass. The crowed around the gasped in horror and Kagami's teammates came to his side while Aomine's teammates went to his side.

"What the hell was that?!" The referee shouted in anger. "You! Off the court now! You won't be participating in this game!" He pointed a finger in Kagami's face. "Leave! Now!"

Kagami glanced down at the ground to see Aomine looking back up at him with a smirk. He had done exactly what he wanted. Kagami clenched his fists by his side and stormed out of the gym, going to the nearest bathroom to try and calm himself down. He put his hands under the cold water and splashed his face. How dare someone say that about [name]. Aomine had no right to speak of him like that. Like he was just some object for his own pleasure.

He wanted nothing more then to go back out there and continue to mess up that jerks face. He looked at himself in the mirror, seeing his eyes were practically glowing red. Not only had that bastard insulted his boyfriend but now he was the reason Kagami couldn't play in the game.

Kagami huffed and left the bathroom. He wanted to go see [name]. If there way anyone who could calm him down it would be him.

He walked back down the hallway but stopped when he heard the sound of his lovers voice. He hid behind the wall and poked his head around the side to see [name] had his arms crossed and looked frustrated as he was talking to Aomine.

"I didn't do anything. Your crazy boyfriend just attacked me because he found out we used to date." Aomine lifted his hand to his nose. "Why would you be with someone like that?"

"Kagami wouldn't have hit you if you didn't set him off. I know you did something." [name] growled out.

"I swear to you. I didn't." Aomine lied and reached forward, grabbing onto the other males hand. "Look, you don't deserve someone like that. He's violent and impulsive. Come on, give me another chance. Please. I am so much better for you then him."

[name] scoffed and tugged his hand out of his hold. "I broke up with you for a reason, Aomine. You're a dick. Kagami is not. He is kind and warm and he makes me smile. All you ever did was make me feel bad about myself."

Kagami widened his eyes. [name] had been the one to break up with him. Aomine had lied. He had lied just to get Kagami angry enough to hit him.

"I promise you I have changed. I'll never hurt you again." Aomine pleaded.

"I said no. Just leave me alone. I have to go find Kagami." [name] shook his head and pushed past Aomine who stared at his back with sorrow in his eyes. [name] was making his way closer so Kagami moved back behind the wall, waiting as he heard the footsteps getting closer. "There you are."

"Here I am." Kagami nodded his head. "Look, I'm sorry for how I acted in there. I was an idiot."

"You don't have to apologise to me. I don't care that you hit him." [name] laughed. "I was trying to tell you before the game that he was my ex but you didn't give me a chance. I didn't want him to blind side you."

"Guess when you say it's important, I should listen."

"Yes, you should. Remember that for the future."

"He was just... he was saying nasty things about you and I couldn't hold myself back." Kagami explained and [name] raised his eyebrows, urging him to say what was said by his ex. Kagami rubbed the back of his neck. "Just stupid shit."

"He does say some pretty stupid shit but just ignore him next time. I really wanted to see you beat his ass at basketball, not literally." [name] leaned against the wall and tilted his head. "Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait until next time."

Kagami smiled, "don't you worry. The next time we'll play, I'll really make him regret what he said."

"I have all the faith in the world in you." [name] kissed him with a smile. "You want to ditch and go get some food since you're not playing anymore?"

"You read my mind."
