Hayden was standing in front of Liam and talking but he was barely listening to her. He was instead looking down the hall at his ex boyfriend. The ex he had broken up with to be with Hayden. He still remembered the heart broken look in [name]'s eyes when he told him he had fallen out of love with him and in love with Hayden.

It was a look that would haunt Liam forever.

"Liam, hello? Are you even listening to me?" Hayden asked in annoyance. When he once again didn't respond she turned around and looked to where he was, feeling her fist clench at her aides when he saw who exactly he was looking at. "Liam!" She shouted.

"Huh?" Liam finally snapped out of his daze and looked at her. "Sorry what were you saying?" Instead of answering she just looked at him with an unreadable expression in her eyes. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Why don't you just admit it." She said softly.

"Admit what?"

"How you feel." She looked down at the ground after shaking her head. "You're still in love with [name]." She said. She was half expecting him to deny it but instead he once again stayed silent, his eyes going back over to his ex boyfriend.

"I - I don't know how I feel." He said.

"That's a lie." Hayden said, hearing how his heartbeat had jumped. "You know exactly how you feel, you just don't want to admit it. You made a mistake by breaking up with him to be with me. You regret it and you think you've lost him." She was hurt but she cared about Liam and just wanted him to be happy.

"I'm so sorry." He said sadly. Not only had he broken her heart but he also broke [name]'s, all because he got confused with his feelings. "It doesn't matter anyway. Like you said, I lost him."

He wished he could go back to that night and take back everything he said. He wasn't in love with Hayden. He had a fascination with her but that was it. He realised that now. He wanted to go back to the night and instead of breaking up with [name] he kisses him and tells him how much he means to him and that he never wants to lose him. He wanted to change the past.

Hayden could feel tears coming to her eyes and she tried to hide it. "Just talk to him. You never know what could happen." She walked away when she was finished.

Liam wanted to punch himself. He was so stupid. He looked at [name] again. He was basically radiating. He had a large smile on his face and looked to be singing a quiet tune to himself. It was nice to see him happy. Ever since they broke up, he had had a dark cloud over him. Liam wondered what it was that was giving him that smile.

He didn't have to wonder for long as only moments later Theo came walking up behind [name], also having a large smile on his lips. Liam listened in to what they were saying.

"I missed you." Theo said, making the other male laugh.

"You saw me this morning."

"To long." Theo shook his head with a pout. Liam heard [name]'s heart start to beat quicker. "I had a really good time last night."

"Yeah, me to."

"So, do you think maybe I have a shot of getting a second date?"

[name] grinned before leaning forward and kissing him. Liam felt his stomach drop. He didn't know whether to cry or punch the nearest locker. Instead of doing either, his body froze.

When the kiss was over, Theo's eyes glanced over and caught Liam's. His eyes narrowed into a glare before he grabbed [name]'s hand. "Come on, I want to show you something before class."

They left and Liam stayed in the same spot. [name] couldn't be with Theo... he just couldn't. He needed to talk to Scott and Stiles about this. Seeing as [name] was Stiles brother, he would have to have a problem with it to and maybe he could convince them to break up so Liam could have another chance.

Liam frowned as he leaned against the lockers. Though if that happened, [name] would once again only get hurt. Liam couldn't let him get hurt again and as much as he loved him, he wasn't going to break them up.

He just had to accept that [name] had moved on and Liam could only hope, Theo never hurt him.
