[name] was sitting by the fountain in the courtyard with a large smile on his face. Why did he have a large smile on his face? Because he and Legoshi were finally going on a date with each other. They had been dating for weeks now but they were taking things slow.

Incredibly slow.

But finally the time had come where they would be going out in public together. "You have no idea how happy I am." [name] said with his usual deep voice. He land over and put his hand on the side of Legoshi's muzzle, running his hands through his fur.

Legoshi tilted his head, enjoying the feeling. "I'm glad I make you happy." He said softly.

"There hasn't been day where you haven't." The other male responded. He kept his hand in the soft fur as he leaned forward, fully prepared for them to have their first kiss with each other. It felt like the right time and apparently Legoshi felt the same way because he was leaning forward as well.

Just as their lips were about to touch, someone grabbed the back of [name]'s shirt and pulled him up, forcing him to stand on his feet. He gasped in anger as he turned and spotted his older brother. "Louis? What the hell are you doing? Let me go you freak!" He snapped.

"What do I think I'm doing? What do you think you're doing?" He had no idea that his brother was in a romantic relationship with a wolf. "Do you realise the kind of danger you are putting yourself in? Stay away from him if you know what's good for you." He sneered, looking between the both of them. "I don't trust you."

Legoshi looked down with shame. He hadn't done anything wrong but he felt bad because he knew how close [name] and Louis were and if Louis didn't approve of him, he didn't know what they were going to do.

"Don't speak to him like that." [name] snapped and shoved Louis to the side. "He hasn't done anything wrong. If you have a problem, talk to me about it. Leave him out of this."

"You're being a fucking idiot! You know that? I thought you were smarter then this but are you really letting your hormones get the better of you? You would stoop this low to get with the likes of him? It's disgusting."

[name] scoffed, feeling himself grow angrier by the second. "How about you just stay out of my business? Whatever goes on between me and Legoshi has nothing to do with you so back off. I'm not going to stop seeing him because of what you say. So how about you just stay away from us? Then we'll both be happy."

"You're going to regret this, [name]. You might not see it now but it will happen and I'm not going to be here when it does!" Louis shouted as the pair walked away from him.

"Good! I don't need you!" [name] shouted back, his grip around Legoshi's hand tight as he basically dragged him away, not wanting him to hear anymore of the nasty words that would come from his brothers mouth.

"I'm sorry." Legoshi whispered out once [name] stopped. "I never wanted to put a rift between you and Louis."

"Don't apologise. Please. You haven't done anything wrong. This is all because of him and his stupid brain. He's just... if he can't accept who I want to be with then I don't want him in my life. It's as simple as that." He huffed and leaned back against the closest tree. All he wanted was for his brother to be happy for him. He hadn't had much luck with boyfriends in the past. Most of them turning out to be douchebags and now he finally found someone who was kind and bright and Louis had to have a problem with that just because Legoshi was a wolf?

It pissed him right off.

He had no right to judge Legoshi without even knowing him.

"If you don't want to go on that date anymore, you don't have to. I don't want you to feel like you have to because you don't want to hurt my feelings. I understand if you want to go see Louis or - "

[name] cut off his rambling by putting a hand over his mouth and making him stop. His eyes were narrowed as he said, "don't even think about cancelling this date. It's the one thing I've been looking forward to. Don't let Louis ruin this for us."

Legoshi nodded his head. He could see he was upsetting [name] now and that was the last thing he wanted to do. He grabbed [name]'s hand and took it off his face, holding it in his hand. "Okay. I won't say anything more about it but if you want to talk. I'm here. I - I love you [name] and I don't want to lose you."

They hadn't even had their first kiss yet and Legoshi was already confessing his love for him? It sent him into a bit of shock and h stayed silent.

"You don't have to say it back. I just wanted you to know how I felt."

"As crazy as it sounds... hell, we haven't been together that long... but I love you to. I've never felt this way about anyone before. It freaks me out sometimes." He chuckled. "You won't lose me. No one is going to bring us apart. I'll make sure of it."

The whole time they had been speaking, Louis had been hiding in the shadows and listening. Like he said, he didn't trust Legoshi and he didn't want them to be alone together in case something happened. He had listened to every word they had said to each other and even though the words were full of truth and love, Louis still had that feeling that something was going to go wrong.

He had always been the one to protect [name] and he wasn't going to stop now. He would keep an eye on them, making sure Legoshi didn't cross and lines and when he felt it was right, then he would give his blessing but until then, Legoshi better watch his back.
