Light was walking down the street, his hand clutched tight and his fingers interlocked with his boyfriend who was walking beside him. Light was tense as he kept his stare forward. [name] was talking about something but Light wasn't listening. No he was too busy thinking. Wondering if his boyfriend had betrayed him.

See he was getting suspicious that [name] might be working with the police and was getting information out of him to tell them to try and get him convicted. Why did he think this? He saw [name] leaving the police station and that night when Light asked him where he had [name] had lied to him. Light always made sure to watch what he said around [name], not wanting to give anything away and possibly give the police any evidence.

"What are you going to do do him if he has betrayed you, hm?" Ryuk asked in a sinister voice. "Will you be able to right his name in the book? Kill him for what he did to you?"

Light didn't answer him. It's not like he could or [name] would think he was crazy but Ryuk did voice an important question. What would Light do if his suspicions were proved right? Would he kill him? Could he even do it?

He decided he would deal with that if it came to it.

They got back to his house and immediately went to his room. [name] put his bag down and started to get out his books. "What did you want to start on first?" He questioned.

Light didn't answer and walked over to his window, dark eyes staring out and lips moved into a thin line.

[name] turned around from his books and stared at his boyfriend. "Light? Did you hear me?"

"I heard you." Light answered back.

[name] did not like the tone of his voice. He sounded mad and [name] had no clue what he could be mad at. "What's going on with you. You've been acting weird all day. Did I do something?" Light once again ignored him. "Light?"

Light sighed and moved around. "Can I ask you something?" He said, his voice sounding dangerous.

[name] furrowed his eyebrows. "Yeah, of course."

Light footsteps grew closer to him. "Where were you yesterday?" He tried to keep his voice calm as he looked into [name]'s eyes, trying to read his emotions.

"Uh, at school?"

"After you left. You said you needed to do something. What did you do?"

"Light, why do you care so much? You're acting really weird. Can't we just study?" [name] didn't think much more and went to go back to his books but Light grabbed his wrist. "Ow!" He exclaimed at the tight squeeze. "That hurts." He tried to pull his wrist back but Light only tightened his grip, making [name] wince.

"Where were you yesterday after school?"

"I had to meet up with my mum - "

"Don't lie to me!" Light shouted in his face and pushed him up against the nearby wall. "Where were you?"

"Light, let me go." [name] tried to get out of his hold but Light wouldn't let him. "What is wrong with you? Why are you acting like this?"

Light growled at him. "Listen to me very carefully. You are either going to tell me what you did yesterday after school or I'm going to make you regret it."

"I told you! I had to meet up with my mum! Someone stole her hand bag so she went to file a report. I went and picked her up at the police station. I swear to god I'm not lying." [name] had tears in his eyes as Light finally let him go.

"Oh, of course. I should have thought about that." Light laughed, a tension leaving his shoulders. "I'm sorry. I guess I got a bit overheated." He was acting like he didn't just shove [name] roughly against a wall and leave bruises on his boyfriends wrists.

"Right..." [name] rubbed his wrists, seeing they were now bright red and had small dents from where Lights nails had dug in.

"I really am sorry." Light grabbed his wrist, this time a lot gentler and kissed the skin. "I didn't mean to hurt you, you know I'd never do that. Please forgive me." Light looked at him with false pleading eyes. "I love you."

"I - I love you to." [name] said, though there was hesitance in his voice. He didn't want Light to touch him anymore and breathed a sigh of relief when he was let go.

This wasn't the same Light who he first started dating. The old Light was sweet and caring and never would have thought about laying his hands on [name] but he had changed.

Something had happened to make him different, made him more rough and dangerous. A person that [name] was falling out of love with and didn't want to be with anymore.

Light now scared him.

After this study session [name] would no longer be coming back to his house.
