[name] was standing at the back to school party by the Falls, a drink in his hand as he chatted with his best friend, Tyler Lockwood. Tyler was going on and on about the new girl he was dating, Caroline Forbes. [name] had met her a couple times and she seemed nice enough. A bit demanding but other then that, she was cool and she seemed to make Tyler happy. That's all that mattered.

"What about you, dude?" Tyler asked, taking a drink from his red, plastic cup. "Are you seeing anyone."

"Unfortunately not." [name] sighed, taking a look around the party. "But I wish." He spoke when his eyes caught sight of a certain Salvatore standing over by the bridge. The hottest guy [name] had ever encountered. He had come to Mystic Falls last year with his brother.

Tyler laughed loudly, seeing where he had been staring. "Dude, you are so obvious. If you like him that much, stop being a pussy and go for it. What's stopping you?"

"What's stopping me? Really?" The other male responded non amused. "Maybe that's the reason." He pointed towards Elena. She had snatched Stefan up only weeks after he came to town. [name] hadn't stood a chance. "He has a girlfriend, Ty."

Tyler rolls his eyes. "Who cares? I'm sure Stefan wouldn't mind having a little fun on the side." He nudged [name] in the side.

"Well, unlike you, I have some respect for myself and don't go after people in relationships." He judged Tyler back harshly in the ribs.

"And that's why I have more sex then you do, loser." Tyler teased him.

"Stop bringing up my non existent sex life. It make me tear up." [name] said back over dramatically. It had been so long since he had been laid. There weren't a lot of gay guys in Mystic Falls and most of his attention had been on Stefan anyway.

"Then lose some of that respect you have and do something about it." Tyler said as if it were obvious because to him it was. [name] paused and thought for a moment. He went to open his mouth but Tyler cut him off. "Or maybe you don't have to."

[name] furrowed his eyebrows and Tyler gestured behind him. He turned around and saw Stefan and Elena looked to be in an angry argument and their voices were getting progressively louder.

"Go and shoot you shot already." Tyler said. "Now's the perfect time."

"Just forget about it, Ty." [name] shook his head. Tyler looked at him annoyed but let the topic go as he saw Caroline making her way over to them. His eyes basically became hearts as he wrapped his arms around her and she kissed him.

Never thought I would be jealous of him, [name] thought, pitying himself.

He talked with Tyler and Caroline for a moment before the couple were making their exit, probably going to find somewhere private to make out. Now that he was standing by himself, he looked around awkwardly, trying to see if there was anyone else he knew he could talk to.
