"Thank you, but I'm gonna stay at Claire's for the rest of the week to get my stuff," I said," I think I'm also gonna try and go get my stuff from my mom's house."
"Ok, but I'm coming with you to your moms, I don't want you to get hurt," he told me.
I smiled and nodded my head before texting Claire.
Simone- Hey... I got back with Jay, and I'm gonna move in with him until I get back on my feet
Claire-You've only known him for like a month, and he wasn't even there for you when you needed him
Simone- I know, but we talked and worked it out
Simone- I'm not moving in until next week, can we please not fight about this?
Claire- Fine, but when he starts acting weird again don't come to me. I'm serious
Simone- I won't, thank you for understanding
"Well, I'm gonna head to Claire's house," I said.
"Are you walking?" he asked.
"Yeah, I don't have a car," I said.
"I'll take you come on," he said and began walking downstairs.
A few minutes later
"Thanks for the ride, I'll talk to later," I said while getting out the car.
"Ok, bye," he said and drove off.
I walked up the steps and saw Claire standing at the doorway. She didn't say anything, but I could tell she was upset. I didn't want to argue, so I just went upstairs.I decided to just go to sleep instead of doing my homework, which was a normal occurrence with me. I shut off the lights in the guest bedroom and dreamt of Jay.
