"Where did you think you were going, huh!" He screamed.
"I just assumed-" I...
"Come on let's go to Forever 21 first, then H&M," Kiera said.
Laylani and I agreed and began walking with her.
"So since you guys were asking about my relationship, are you guys with anyone?" I asked.
"Well, I'm dating Marco," Laylani said in a proud tone.
"I'm taken too, I have a girlfriend named Eve," Kiera said.
"Ok, what are you guys planning on getting?" I asked.
"Probably some crop tops and a swimsuit," Kiera said.
"Yeah I need a swimsuit too, and some new shorts," Laylani said while looking at a white two-piece.
I began looking at a sweater and sweatpant set and decided I would get it. I wanted to have comfortable clothes for pregnancy even though it was summer.
"You should get something cute for after your pregnancy, plus you're not showing that much yet," Laylani said.
"Yeah, you could definitely get away with wearing tight clothes," Kiera added.
"I'll think about it," I said and continued to look at sweatshirts.
I would like to get a cute dress or something, but Jay is pretty strict about what I wear. I can usually get away with wearing crop tops if we were at home, but if we ever went out I had to cover up. When we first started dating he was fine with what I wore, but that has obviously changed. I get why though, he does a lot for me so I just respect his decision. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Kiera calling me to the jewelry. I quickly jogged over with my clothes in hand.
I was going to ask them what they were gonna get from here, but then I saw a moon necklace. My eyes started to tear up a little and Kiera asked me what was wrong.
"I'm fine, it's just that the moon reminds me of my father," I said, "He always said he wanted to go to the moon, and he even had a tattoo of the moon on his shoulder blade."
"You definitely need to get it then," Laylani said and handed it to me.
There wasn't anything particularly special about it, it was just some cheap metal in a crescent shape, but I knew I needed it. I grabbed it and told the girls I was gonna go pay. The line wasn't long, and I got to the register quickly.
"$65.11 is your total, would you like to pay with cash or credit?" I'll pay with my card," I said and handed her Jay's card.

She rang me up, I thanked her, and then I went to sit on a bench inside the mall. I made sure to stay close, so Kiera and Laylani would see me when the left the store. I checked my phone and saw that Jay had texted me 5 minutes ago. I sighed cause I knew he likes me to respond immediately.
Jay- What are you doing?
Jay- Are you ok?
Jay- You talking to some dude?!
Jay- If you don't respond in the next minute, I'm coming to the mall!
Simone- I'm fine, and I'm not talking to any guys
Simone- I had my phone in my purse, that's why I didn't respond
