-Excerpt from the story -
"Where did you think you were going, huh!" He screamed.
"I just assumed-" I...
I've been looking for Simone for over two months, and I've finally found her. I've been watching her for about a month now, but today she saw me. Her bump is getting huge, and I'll be damned if I don't have her back by the time my son's born. She's been living with some old hag named Dorothy Hill. It's been fucking hell since Simone left. I've been hooking up with any girl I see to try and make up for her, but it's no good. She had better not have met anyone, or I swear I'll kill them and maybe even her. My crew is "worried" about me since I've been fighting and doing hella drugs. I'm planning on meeting her at her job, Danny's Diner. I don't plan on taking her back home today, but who knows.
Simone/Jasmine's Pov
I begin breathing raggedly and crying. I made sure to sit in the back so no one would see me. No one would have asked me what was wrong anyway. I slowly began to convince myself that anyone could drive a black car, and it has been three months after all. I pulled myself together just as the bus stopped a block from Danny's.
I had gotten a job there two months ago, and so far, it's been pretty good. I also started staying with Dee so I could conserve my money for the baby. I got off the bus and quickly walked to Danny's. When I got in, my coworker, Sage, greeted me.

(Ion really know why but I'm making her coworker nonbinary so that's why you'll see Simone saying them a lot)
I waved at them and went into the bathroom so I could change into my uniform. I've had to size up to a large cause of the baby bump, but it'll all be worth it in the end. After tying my hair in a messy bun and putting on my apron, I headed out of the bathroom.
"Hey, can you serve that table? I'm finna go on break," Sage said.
"Yeah, sure," I said and walked over.cI saw two guys, but I could only see one of their faces.
"Hi! Welcome to Dan-" I stopped mid-sentence when I saw the second guy. Jay.
I wanted to run, but I just stood there shaking.
Jay reached and rubbed my stomach, "Look how big my little boy's gotten!"
The other got up and left, but I kept my eyes on Jay.
"Well, you've had your little fun. Are you ready to come back home?" He asked.
"N-n-no," I stuttered.
I felt so stupid. Why did I always sound so scared when Jay talked to me.As soon as I said that word, his face contorted into a sinister look.
He began to grip the wooden table before saying, "I wasn't asking."
I couldn't go back. I began to imagine how Jay would treat my son, and I immediately felt myself gain feeling in my legs. I began to run, and before he could grab me, I locked myself into the back room. I started to call Dee with shaking hands, the phone rang, and on the second ring she picked up.
