20. Smoke

I freaked out and began speed walking, but he caught up.

"Why did you drop out?" he asked.

"I didn't drop out, I'm doing online school," I said looking at Kiera and Laylani for help.

"I have to go, bye," I said and got in the back seat.

Kiera and Laylani also got in, and I could see Jackson calling someone. After we started driving I sighed.

"Who was that?" Kiera asked.

"That's Jackson, he used to try and bully me into sleeping with him when I still went to public school," I said.

"That sucks, at least he's gone now," Kiera said, and I nodded my head.

The ride was pretty silent until Laylani turned on I hope by Jay Lewis (That song is funny as hell) we all started rapping the lyrics while laughing until we got to Jay's house. Jay's car was the only one there, so I braced myself for how he was gonna act.

"We'll see you sometime next week, bye!" Laylani said and they drove off.

I carried my three bags to the door and began getting out my keys when the door opened on its own. As soon as the door opened I cringed. I knew by the skunk smell what it was. I started to walk away, but Jay called my name.

"Where are you going?" He said.

"I'm going to the backyard, I don't want to smell that," I said while opening the side gate.

"No you're not, go inside," Jay said while following me.

"Jay, I don't want to be inhaling that while I'm pregnant," I said hoping he wouldn't go off.

"What the fuck did I just say!" he screamed," Get yo butt in the fucking house before I beat yo ass."

I still hesitated, I didn't want my baby to be around drugs, I know how that can affect kids.

 I slowly walked inside, but once I got in I ran to my room. I was pissed off, but decided it was best if I didn't go off. I set my bags on my bed and went into the bathroom to take off my makeup and shower. I made sure to lock both doors before getting undressed. I took a quick shower and put on an oversized shirt with some plain panties. I tied up my hair in a bun and sat on my bed to put away my new clothes. I put away the sweaters and sweatpants, but when I opened my Victoria's Secret bag, the polka dot set was in there. I knew it wasn't a mistake and that Kiera must have put it in when she left to get a hot dog. I laughed a little before putting it away also. 

I didn't want to leave my room, but I was craving some peanut butter, I decided I would rather be annoyed with a full stomach. I opened my door and saw the smell had pretty much cleared up. I didn't hear Jay, so I walked down the stairs. I made it downstairs, got the peanut butter, a spoon, and began going back upstairs. I got to the top of the stairs when I heard Jay following me. I turned around and he looked very upset. Before I could say anything he showed me a video on his phone.
