-Excerpt from the story -
"Where did you think you were going, huh!" He screamed.
"I just assumed-" I...
I finished eating the strawberries and washed the bowl out in my bathroom sink since Jay didn't want me downstairs for some reason. I laid down and started to go on my phone until Jay came in.
"Who are you texting?" he asked.
"I'm not texting I'm looking at my horoscope," I responded.
"Let me see, I don't trust you," he said while walking over.
"I already told you what I'm doing, why do you need to see my phone?" I said confused.
"Why are you being defensive? That means your hiding something," he said.
"I'm not hiding anything," I said.
"Well then there shouldn't be an issue with me checking, right?" he said while trying to grab my phone.
I didn't respond and just let go of my phone. Once he finished looking he threw my phone next to me.
"Come on, we're leaving," he said and walked out.
I checked my appearance again before grabbing my belongings and leaving the room to follow Jay. We got in the car and Jay began driving in silence.
After a few minutes, I asked," Can I put on some music?"
"No," he said still looking at the road.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I said so, now shut the fuck up!" he yelled.
"You're so fucking annoying!" he said," I'm all you have and you still disrespect me!"
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
All of a sudden he went really quiet and seemed calm?
I wanted to say something else, but we pulled up to his parent's house or should I say mansion. I gasped and I heard Jay chuckle.

As soon as the car stopped I began to become nervous. What if they don't like me? They are definitely gonna hate me.
"It's gonna be fine, they'll love you," Jay said before getting out the car. I took a deep breath and got out of the car.
I slowly followed Jay to the door where he rang the doorbell. The door opened to reveal a sweet-looking woman and a kinda scary man. I guess that's where Jay got it from.

The woman greeted us an rushed us into the house so we could eat. Everything was pretty hectic, but I was enjoying myself. Jay's mom, who told me to call her Cindy, is very sweet, but his dad doesn't talk much. I began conversing with Cindy about my life and my relationship with Jay. I made sure to only include the good parts so Jay wouldn't get mad.
2 hours later
Jay and I finally left after a few hours. I had fun with Cindy, but I was ready to go to sleep. Jay was pretty silent and seemed tense. He was talking with his dad the whole time and he seemed like he was gonna lose it.
"What's wrong," I asked.
Jay didn't respond, but his knuckles began the whiten. I decided it was best to not say anything and just looked out the window until we got home. When we got inside I headed upstairs to take a shower.
A few minutes later
I got out of the shower, but then I realized I left my clothes on my bed. I walked out of the bathroom in my towel and saw Jay sitting on my bed with his head down.
"Jay?" I said.
"I know what you were doing," he muttered.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're trying to leave me again, but I'll teach you not to," he said while standing up.
"I wasn't trying to leave, I was just taking a shower," I stuttered.
"I know the truth," he slurred.
I realized he was drunk and that he wasn't gonna stop. I thought tonight was gonna be good, but I guess not.
