"Well hello, my beautiful housemates!" Roman beamed as he swung into the kitchen with a laugh. Logan sat there at the table with his paper only to glance up at Roman for a second before returning to reading. "Oh don't be like that. Are you still mad at me?"

"Mad? Of course not. I cannot be mad at a man who has no regard for other emotions. For me to do so would be hypocritical considering." Roman frowned as Logan sighed setting his paper down with a smirk. "I knew what I was getting into Roman. I made the decision to go along with it regardless."

"Look, Logan, I said I was..."

"Roman, I do not care in slightest." Roman nodded as he slowly sat down at the table. Patton sighed softly as he turned away from the stove with a plate in hand.

"I take it that night you had last week was with Logan." Roman groaned as Patton giggled softly. "That would explain somethings. You were never that loud with me."

"OH MY GOD!" Roman paled as he hid his hands into his shirt. "Can we talk about my escapades at the table." Patton laughed as he handed the plate over with a smile. "Thank you."

"No problem, Kiddo. Although Thomas did want me to speak with you." Roman frowned in confusion as Patton sat beside Logan. "Given your... dramatics... Thomas asked us to... uh, well..."

"We will be getting a new housemate soon and you are to leave him alone." Logan spoke bluntly as he sipped his coffee. "Thomas wants you and Remus to and I quote 'stay away from him while he gets settled in'."

"And why is that? He never had us separate ourselves before. We were the first ones here. We out of everyone know the most about this place." Patton's eyes darkened as Roman huffed and pushed his food around. "Maybe I wanna greet the new guy this time. Remus always does it."

"Considering Thomas's adamance about..."

"I'm sure Thomas won't mind you greeting them." Roman smiled softly as Logan rolled his eyes. "The thing is though kiddo... You can't be..."

"You can't be you." Patton playfully slapped Logan's arm who just shrugged with a slight smirk.

"You can't be loud." Patton corrected making Roman's eyes narrow in concern.

"What's going on with them?" Patton smiled awkwardly as he shrugged.

"Honestly kiddo... We don't know. Thomas said they're very secretive and shy. That they startle easily but... He didn't go into detail."

"Oh... Ok, so... The guy's skiddish." Roman smiled as he started to eat his food. "The shy ones are always the cutest." Logan groaned as Patton giggled making Roman chuckle a bit. "What can I say? I'm a flirt."

"You're a heartbreaker." Roman frowned as Logan got up from the table. "You're the towns... uh... wait hold on I have a card for this." Roman glared over at the other as he fumbled through his flashcards until he held on up with this dark look in his eyes. "You're a fukboi."

"Thanks Logan. I'm so glad you asked Remus for more flashcards." Roman pushed his plate away as he stormed out of the room with a growl. "I AM NOT! IMMA PRINCE!"

"It's I am a... Not... whatever." Logan laughed softly as he set his cup in the sink before leaning against it as he stared after the other. "Patton, have you ever thought of why Roman was here, to begin with?"

"He's here for his brother." Logan's eyes narrowed as Patton just sat there smiling. "Why else would he be here. Roman doesn't have any issues like the rest of us."

"Yet he's been here right along Remus the whole time." Patton frowned as he glanced over to see Logan with this concerned look.

"What exactly are you getting at, Logan?" Logan shook his head as he pushed off the sink with a sad smirk.

"Nothing. I merely had this thought in my head for a while. However, without any evidence, I have nothing to state my claim." Patton's eyes darkened as he looked away.

"Even if Roman did have a reason to be here... It would make him no different than us Logan."

"I know that. I wasn't saying it to belittle or cause offense. I merely brought it up as I am concerned about him, Patton. Something is going on with him and if he has a reason to be here but isn't getting the help he needs..."

"There's nothing we can do, Logan." Logan deflated as he nodded as he started for the door. "Except be there for him." Logan paused as Patton smiled softly. "Be there for him and try to understand him regardless of his actions. He isn't a bad guy, Logan. Why do you think I'm still so friendly with him even after what happened? He didn't do it to hurt me. He did it to push me away. Same as you..."

"I know. I know." Logan ran a shaky hand through his hair before rolling his shoulders a bit. "That is precisely why I am concerned, Patton. That whole night... didn't seem right to me."

"The only thing we can do right now is working on getting the new guy's room done. It's tradition after all." Logan laughed as he nodded.

"Right. I'll be working on it then. Please inform the others. Even if Remus cannot greet like usual, he should still participate in the welcoming." Patton beamed as Logan walked out of the kitchen.

"Alright, kiddo." Patton smiled as he pulled out his phone and smiled at the picture he had from Thomas. "I have a feeling you'll have a great time here." Patton sighed softly as he carefully set his phone down lost in thought. "We just have to get through the welcoming."
