Roman huffed slightly as he hung his jacket on the hanger and slipped his boots into the pile. At this point, Roman was just exhausted. He would have to take a nap if he was going to go out again. He shook himself out of his thoughts as he slowly made his way to the kitchen. He hadn't eaten yet. Actually, Roman was kind of hoping Virgil had some leftovers or something. He didn't really feel like cooking much. He didn't even get the chance to look through as the moment he walked in stopped short. Remy was leaned over the counter, pot bubbling on the stove, eyes closed, and about to fall over.

"Well, I guess it's a good thing I got here I did." Roman frowned as he glanced out towards the stairs. "Virgil's probably not aware. Ok, come on Rem. I'll get you in bed." Roman walked over holding him up as Remy leaned back into him, fast asleep. "Shit I'm gonna need help." His eyes went to the door again and his heart lurched. He didn't want to, mainly because that was all he wanted to do, but he needed help so... "Fuck... VIRGIL!" There was sudden crash as Roman carefully pulled Remy into his arms to keep him from crumbling to the ground and hurting himself.

"What? Who called... Roman?" Virgil ran into the room only to freeze up in shock. "I thought you weren't... Wait what happened to Remy?"

"He's ok, Virgil. He must have just had an episode while cooking. I need you to turn the burner off and help me get him to his room." Roman's eyes we're on Remy but Virgil could tell that was only because he was trying not to look up at Virgil. "Please?"

"Of course, Ro."  Roman tensed up as Virgil walked closer and shift involuntarily as he watched Virgil reach out to click the burner off. "Are you ok, Ro? You look sick."

"I'm fine. I just need help with Remy, that's it." Virgil nodded as Roman carefully held the sleeping man tighter, walking off and out of the room. "Virge?"

"I'm here." Virgil called out as Roman made it to the stairs. "I'll watch you. Go ahead." Virgil smiled softly as Roman just sighed as stared up them. Virgil made sure to let Roman know if his foot wasn't on the step enough or when he was reaching the top. All while the other just stayed absolutely silent. When they finally got to the top Roman simply moved off to the side letting Virgil walk out in front of him. "Door?" Roman didn't respond. He just stood there making Virgil sigh sadly. "I'll just go do that then." Roman swallowed his pain just watching Virgil walk off and open Remy's door. His eyes were already tearing up but he refused to cry in front of the other. He wouldn't do that to Virgil. What's the point of making him feel bad for his decision. He had every right to make it. "Ro?"

"I got it." Roman mumbled as carefully carried Remy into the room and laid him down on his bed. He smiled softly as he gently covered him with his blankets and pulled his sunglasses off, placing them on the nightstand. Virgil just stood there watching as Roman made sure to care for the sleeping man with such a gentleness. It honestly made his heart hurt to watch. Roman turned the lamp off and laughed as Remy grabbed the bear Remus had made him in his sleep. "Come on, Stormfly. He'll be ok." Virgil's eyes went wide as Roman smiled over at him.

"Uh... um... o-ok."

"What?" Roman frowned seeing the shock in the other.

"N-Nothing." Roman's eyes narrowed in confusion as Virgil just left the room hugging himself tightly. Roman groaned as he ran after, his concern overweighing his pain.

"Virgil, wait!" Virgil froze up as Roman grabbed his arm to stop him. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong, Ro?"

"I know that isn't true, Stormfl... oh." Virgil's eyes narrowed as Roman looked away, his hand dropping to his side. "I didn't even notice I had called you that. I'm sorry."

"It's fine, Ro..."

"No, it's not. It's not fine. Nothing is fine. Nothing will ever be fine. Never again..." Virgil's eyes filled with guilt as Roman just laughed as stepped away. "Not for me. Not... I said I wouldn't do this and yet I'm doing it anyway. I'm tired. I'm gonna go take a nap."

"Wait, it's nearly 2." Roman just rolled his eyes as Virgil bit his lip. "Have you eaten anything?"

"I've lost my appetite." Virgil crashed as Roman's door slammed shut leaving him standing there alone.

"I'm sorry." Janus frowned as he picked at his food. Patton had taken him out to eat at this nice cafe but he wasn't really focused on the date any. "I'm just worried over Ro and Vi."

"It's ok, Janus. I understand. I'm a bit worried to." Janus sighed as he leaned his head against the table in defeat.

"If only I knew where this Dr. Picani was." Patton's ears perked slightly as Janus rolled his eyes. "Roman had offhandedly let his name slip when I was talking to him earlier. Apparently, this Dr. Picani is his therapist."

"Wait, Ro goes to therapy?" Janus nodded as his free hand clenched. "When did that start?"

"I don't know. But it's part of the reason Virgil got so scared... Roman never told him he was going so Vi got it in his head he was cheating."

"Oh no." Janus let out a worried laugh as he ran his hands down his face.

"And I made matters worse by telling Virgil what I had learned about Roman without talking to him first so... I just... I figured if I could prove that what Roman was saying was true that maybe Virgil would feel safe enough to actually talk with him."

"Well, I'm sure Emile would love to help but I really don't think he could." Janus froze up as Patton smiled softly at him. "My cousins must be feeling so upset over Roman if he really is his doctor but... He wouldn't be able to..."

"Wait Dr. Picani is your cousin?!" Patton nodded as Janus quickly grabbed his hands. "Please, take me to him."

"Janus, he won't be able to..."

"I need to try Patton. Please?" Patton sighed softly seeing the determination in his boyfriend's eyes before nodding.

"Come on. He should be at lunch about now anyway."
