Days passed by and things weren't going so well. Only Remus was ever allowed to check on Roman. Virgil wanted to. He tried to but... Logan always insisted that it was either him or Remus. And it was always Remus. Virgil was at his breaking point. He knew something had to be wrong. It was just this gut feeling deep down that tore at his insides with no end. Something was wrong. He knew it. He tried to tell Logan that he and Roman actually spoke to each other. He tried to get either of them to let him help but... Logan just ignored him...

And Remus basically yelled at him.

Virgil sat there in the living room trying once again for the millionth time NOT to have a panic attack His mind was in a flurry. Part of him was worried. Obviously Roman must have had some sort of an episode. Why else would he throw himself under lockdown. Yes, Virgil doesn't know exactly what Roman issues are but he knows that Roman has some. He wants to help. He wants to make it better...

He wanted to see Roman smile again. Even to call him Emo nightmare again... He didn't care. He just wanted Roman.

He wanted Roman...

"Huh..." Virgil mumbled quietly as he pulled his knees to his chest. He sat there on the couch lost in his mind. He was angry. That much was obvious to anyone that say him. Remy had come in for only a second, saw the state Virgil was in and just walk right the fuck back out. Patton's been trying to keep things clean and stable while Logan and Remus focused on Roman.

Virgil wanted to scream. He was beyond worried. He was beyond pissed. He didn't know what happened to Roman. He didn't know what was going on behind that closed door. Part of him... a very large part of him... wanted to break it down and drag that princely ass out into the living room. He knew the man was eating or... At least he hoped he was. Remus wouldn't tell him much just that he was bringing him food. Logan absolutely refused to even acknowledge him at all and it was beginning to wear him thin.

Actually no...

It fucking broke him.

Virgil jumped up and walked himself right up those steps. He quite literally shoved Remus aside who was coming out of the room and held up his middle finger ignoring anything that man might have been saying to him. Virgil didn't hesitate to knock on the door.

"Virgil, you can't..." Virgil's eyes darted to Remus who clammed up in shock seeing them as dull and lifeless as they were. "Virgil, please." Virgil only knocked again.

"Fucking stop, Ray!" Roman's voice barely came through the door making Virgil frown as he knocked again softer this time. By the sound of Roman's bed creaking it was obvious he understood it wasn't Remus. "Who is it?"

"It's Virgil, Ro." Remus called though since Virgil wasn't talking. "I tried to tell him to stop." The door creaked open a small bit making both look up in shock as Roman peeked through the partial crake in the door.

"Stormfly?" That only pissed Virgil off more. Roman could see the anger in Virgil's eyes as the smaller crossed their arms with a pout. "Oh." Roman let the door open a bit more with obvious anxiety before shooting his brother a soft smile. "It's ok, Ray. I'll see you later." Remus frowned as he nodded and walked off ignoring Virgil who was clenching his jaw at this point. "Stormfl-..."

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Roman paled as Virgil started to cry. The shock overseeing those tears fall from Virgil's eyes literally sent him reeling. He barely even registered Virgil's words. "I've been panicking all fucking weak because you couldn't just tell me you were ok?"

"Virgil, I..."

"Logan ignored every question I had. Remus actually yelled at me. You were locked away. Not a word or an explanation." Virgil snapped hitting Roman's chest in frustration as he cried. "I was worried, god damn it." Roman grabbed Virgil's wrists stopping him from hitting him again. Virgil tried to pull away weakly but the most he could do was a tug. "I was worried about you. I told you to talk to me. I told you not to shut me out."

"Virgil, please let me explain..."

"I told you I understood. That I could help but... Fucking christ, Roman. I needed you!" Roman's eyes shot wide as Virgil's voice tore through his mind. "You help me. Since the day we met, you've been there. You understood how to handle me and my anxiety. You kept me running. You cared. Even when you were an asshole you still cared." Virgil shook as his sobs tore through him endlessly. "I was terrified and you weren't there to help because YOU WERE THE REASON I WAS SO SCARED!" Roman flinched as Virgil pushed him away freeing his hands from Roman's grasp. "I understand you must have been hurting. I understand something had to have happened but... For fuck's sake... Did you have to be so selfish?!" Virgil took a step back as he wiped his tears away. Roman bit his lip trying to hold back his own as he just shook his head.

"Virgil, I'm sorry. I'm trying to work through some things. It's not easy. I don't know what to do. I just know that I have to do something. I'm not functioning well. I not functioning at all. I need..."

"Oh, get off your high horse, Princey." Roman's eyes dulled instantly as Virgil growled. His hands fell limp at his sides as Virgil furiously wiped his tears away. "The sun does not set only for you." Virgil took a deep breath as he shook and clenched his fists. "My entire weak has been nothing but hell because I was so worried about you. Every time I tried to get some ounce of an explanation or a clue as to how you were doing I got told in less or no words to fuck off. I had enough, Roman. I told you not to shut me out for a reason and you did it anyway. You shut me out. I couldn't take it any-..." Virgil's eyes met with Roman's and he froze, his blood turning to ice as Roman just stood there dazed with a broken and fake smile. "Roman?"

"Are you done?" Roman's voice was light and higher than normal as he tilted his head a bit at the question. Virgil just nodded as Roman smiled a bit more, his eyes still portraying the fact that he was not 'there' at the moment. "Ok then. Goodbye." Before Virgil could even say anything the door was closed and he was left standing there with the haunting memory of the look Roman just gave him.

"What the fuck just happened?"
