Thomas wasn't happy at first. Roman and Remus were supposed to keep their distance at first yet... Here Roman was at his house to welcome the new guy to his new home. Thomas was not exactly thrilled when he opened the door to see his younger cousin.

"Roman? Wait, but I thought..." Roman smiled awkwardly as he shifted about with a laugh. "Patton was supposed to..."

"Don't worry Thombone. I know. I'm just here to welcome him. I wanted to be the one that greeted him. Just once." Thomas frowned as Roman sighed softly. "Please. I've got this."

"Ok. Ok... Out of the two of you, you are the least... destructive." Roman's eyes narrowed as Thomas laughed. "Just please don't be so..."

"Don't loud, pushy, or overall... myself. Yes, I know." Roman chuckled as he followed the older into his home. Thomas paused slightly just outside the living room giving Roman a small chance to see a curled-up black ball on the couch.

"Thomas, you forgot to get more popcorn." Thomas tensed as he looked back only to shake his head and walked in catching the man's eyes. "Thomas? What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong." The man frowned as Thomas sat down beside him with a soft smile. "Do you remember me talking to you about you moving into the other house soon?"

"Yeah? You said that one man... Pat would be..." Thomas looked away with an apologetic look making the other frown more. "Am I not moving? Do they not want me to..."

"It's not that it's just..." Roman cleared his throat making the man jump and Thomas glare at him. Roman smiled softly as he waved his hand slightly.

"Sorry. I just thought it better you knew about my presence sooner than later. I didn't want to startle you worse as time on." The man shifted closer to Thomas as Roman glanced at the distance between them, with a frown. His eyes went to a chair by the wall and he smiled. "Do you mind if I sit down?" The man shook his head and Roman nodded as he walked over to the farthest chair making the other's eyes a little wider. Guess he thought Roman would sit on the other couch or something. If he had an issue with their proximity then Roman wasn't going to get any closer and risk him getting too scared.

"Uh... you don't... you don't have to sit... s-so far away. I mean..." Roman simply smiled as he shook his head.

"It's fine. I chose this chair because I wanted to. I'm Roman Sanders." His eyes lit up as he looked between Thomas and Roman repetitively. "Either my cuz has spoken of me or your surprised to know we're related."

"B-Both?" Roman nodded slightly as he glanced the man over. He could see the anxiety in the other as their eyes.

"It's alright to be afraid. I'm not going to judge you. I live with a few others who all have their own things. Myself included..." His eyes widened a bit as Thomas frowned in concern. "I promise I won't push you."

"W-What is it like there?" Roman beamed as he leaned back against the chair and laughed.

"Ahh, yes. Thomas Sanders's home for the troubled..." Roman sighed happily as he shrugged a bit. "Honestly it's just a home. We're all like family there. We all help each other and support our difference. There are two that are uh... extra." Thomas snorted shocking the man a little as Roman giggle. "Worry not... he was laughing only being well... I am one of the more extra people." The man smirked a small bit as he shot Roman a look.

"So basically you just threw yourself under a bus." Roman nodded as he leaned in a bit like he was about to whisper.

"Myself and My brother, I'm afraid. The bus totally just.." Roman made a gesture as he hed gotten ran over only to melt a little at the sound of the other laughing quietly. "I'm better at... dialing myself down if I need to be but you'll get used to our dramatics eventually. My brother, however... It better if I just come out and say it know... Remus is very... loud and... mature in context."

"He's the one I told you about, Virgil." The man's eyes went wide as Roman frowned in confusion. "The one who you'd probably have some trouble dealing with for a bit."

"But don't worry. We will all help when needed and will gladly give you space when wanted." Virgil smiled softly as he finally took time to look Roman over. Roman bit his lip as he looked away trying really hard not to think of those blue eyes at the moment.

"Is there anyone else?" Roman nodded as he counted off his fingers.

"Remus and I... Then there's Patton. He's a bit loud but very affectionate. He's the resident dad friend. He'll probably adopt you the moment you walk in the house. Don't worry though, he's nothing but a cuddle bug." Virgil nodded as Roman went to another finger still avoid his blue eyes. "There's Logan. He's going to be a toughy at first. I can promise you though he isn't mean or anything. He's just a bit... closed off right now. He's working on that though. He doesn't like being touched though so please don't try to. He only lets me because of... well... that not important but even still he doesn't really like it."

"I don't either." Roman nodded as he smiled a bit to show that he heard and understood.

"Lastly there's Jeremy or Remy as we call him. He's sassy, always drinking coffee, very sarcastic."

"Sounds like my kind of guy." Roman looked up only freeze seeing the smirk Virgil had playing on his lips. Thomas laughed with an obvious nod as Virgil just kept looking at Roman. Roman couldn't help the blush that tinted his cheeks as he glanced back down at his hand with a frown.

"Uh... well, yeah. So that about it. Well, actually... we do have this thing we do called a welcoming." Thomas paled as Virgil frowned in worry. "It's ok we won't be pushing for anything bad. I just wanted to mention that during the welcoming we all make a gift to give to the new guy." Roman gestured to Virgil who got even more tense making Roman sigh sadly. "We thought it best to just make stuff for your room."

"My... My room?" Roman nodded as he glanced over at Thomas with a smile. "I already have a room?"

"Yep, Logan and Thomas talked over the major design of it. The two went out shopping and stuff, as the others made their gifts. Patton made you a blanket. Remus made you a bear, and Remy made you a pillow. Logan didn't have to make you anything cuz well... he made you the room so..."

"What did you make?" Roman froze up seeing the instant fear in the other as he tried to backtrack. "I-I mean... No, wait. I didn't mean it like that. I wasn't saying that you had to..."

"It's ok, Virgil. I made a few wall art things..." Roman smiled as he waved himself off. "I didn't do much. Just some decor stuff. I usually make the pillow but Remy wanted to do it this time."

"I'm sure its all really cool." Virgil hugged himself a bit as he shrugged. "I can't wait to see it all."

"Well, actually that's why I'm here, Virgil." Virgil frowned with confusion as Thomas took his hand softly.

"Roman's here to move you in." Virgil's eyes shot wide as Thomas nodded. "If you think your ready that is?"

"Uh... Yeah... sure. Why not?"
